My age is 40, I have been suffering with upper abdomen pain after meals. Particularly left side of the upper abdomen to middle. Stomach heaviness, gastric discomfort, indigestion problem. Please suggest effective medicine for my problem.

HELLO, From your symptoms- upper abdominal pain after meals (left to centre), heaviness, gas, indigestion, moderate intensity (4-6/10) for 1-6 months this commonly correlate in Ayurveda with -Amla pitta (acid dyspepsia) -Mandagni (low digestive fire) -Mild vata kapha imbalance in the stomach region INTERNAL MEDICATIONS 1) FOR ACID CONTROL AND BURNING -AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm water before meals twice daily =reduces acidity, regulates pitta, improves digestion 2) FOR INDIGESTION AND GAS -HINGWASTAKA CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with first morsel of food twice daily =relieves bloating, heaviness , abdominal discomfort -AROGYAVARDHINI VATI= 1 tab twice daily after meals =supports liver function and improves metabolism 3) IF PAIN AND GAS PERSIST -SUTSEKHAR RAS= 1 tab twice daily after meals =helpful in chronic hyperacidity with upper abdominal pain HOME REMEDIES -warm water + few drops of lemon in morning if no burning sensation -1 tsp Ghee in warm rice at lunch improves digestion without aggravating pitta -jeera water after meals -avoid lying down immediately after meals wait at least 2 hours DIET -warm, freshly cooked meals -moong dal, rice, vegetables soups -buttermilk with roasted jeera afternoon only Eat at fixed timings.
