When the duration is short (2–3 minutes), it is traditionally viewed as Shukragata Vata, where the “mobile” and “quick” qualities of Vata Dosha have entered the reproductive tissue (Shukra Dhatu), leading to premature release (Kshipra Munchana). ​The Ayurvedic Perspective ​Vata Chala Guna: Excessive Vata in the Manovaha Srotas (channels of the mind) and Shukravaha Srotas (reproductive channels) causes hypersensitivity and a lack of control over the “Apana Vayu,” which governs the release of fluids. ​Alpa Sattva: A “weak” or anxious mind (low Sattva) cannot withhold the sensory surge, leading to early climax. This is often linked to performance anxiety or high stress. ​Pitta involvement: If there is associated “Ushna” (heat), it can “liquefy” the Shukra, making it prone to flowing out too quickly. ​Suggested Management from Kerala Ayurveda ​The goal is to increase Stambhana (retention power) and Balya (strength) while grounding the Vata. ​1. Vigogem Tablet This is a specialized Kerala Ayurveda proprietary formulation. It acts as a non-hormonal rejuvenator and aphrodisiac that helps improve vigor and helps with “Stambhana” (delaying ejaculation). ​Dose: 1 to 2 tablets twice daily, taken with warm milk after food. ​2.
