This kind of pittaj atisara where motions are 2–3 times, loose but not watery usually indicates mild pitta imbalance with some digestive weakness, so treatment should be gentle and not too heavy the medicines you mentioned are mostly correct but all together are not always required in mild cases like yours medicines you can take kutaj ghan vati 1 tablet twice daily after food bilvadi churna 1/2 tsp twice daily with warm water dadimashtaka churna 1/2 tsp before meals you can continue with kutaj ghan vati, no need to replace it with kutajarishta at this stage since condition is not severe mustarishtam is not compulsory in your case, you can avoid it for now unless there is more burning or severe pitta symptoms keep your diet very light and pitta calming, include rice, moong dal, pomegranate, buttermilk and avoid spicy, oily, sour and fermented foods eat in small quantities but regularly and avoid overeating with this simple combination, condition should gradually come under control Heartful pranams Dr Raghuveer SN (Ayurvedacharya)
Last week i started facing loose motion 2 times a day issue bcoz of heat i think. But i didn’t follow any light diet for loose motion instead ate all spicy & heavy food.So now my motion is still loose but sticky also.If i take spicy foods loose motion increases. Tried having bilvadi churna then motion becomes well formed but sticky. So should I take panchkol for aam pachan?
Aapki condition me heat + aam (undigested toxins) + wrong diet ka combination ho gaya hai, isliye stool kabhi loose aur kabhi sticky ho raha hai. Abhi panchkol turant start karna best choice nahi hai, kyunki wo strong hot nature ka hai aur loose motion ko aur irritate kar sakta hai. Sabse pehle gut ko settle karna zaroori hai. Diet bilkul light rakhein – khichdi, dahi (daytime), rice + moong dal. Spicy, fried, heavy food completely avoid karein kuch din. Ghar par: Bel ka sharbat ya anaar juice le sakte hain. Jeera water bhi helpful rahega. • Kutajghan vati – 1 tablet din me 2 baar • Bilwadi churna – ½ teaspoon din me 2 baar • Musta churna – ½ teaspoon din me 2 baar Jab stool properly normal ho jaye, tab mild deepan ke liye panchkol short duration ke liye liya ja sakta hai. Abhi focus “stabilize” par rakhein, fir “aam pachan”. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
Your picture is of chronic pittaj atisara but in a mild–moderate form now (2–3 loose, not watery stools, appetite present). So the aim is grahi (binding) + pitta shaman + agni stabilisation — not very strong stambhana. review of your medicines 1. Kutaj Ghan Vati ✔ very appropriate best for reducing frequency and correcting intestinal secretion 👉 keep this as your main medicine 2. Bilvadi Churna ✔ good choice grahi + improves digestion 👉 useful in your case 3. Mustarishtam useful for pachan 4. Dadimashtaka Churna ✔ very good addition balances pitta improves taste, appetite, and gut stability 👉 especially useful in chronic cases like yours your key question should you replace kutaj ghan vati with Kutajarishta ? 👉 No need to replace. kutaj ghan vati = stronger, more direct control on diarrhea kutajarishta = milder, more supportive ✔ in your case (only 2–3 loose stools): → kutaj ghan vati is better 👉 you can add kutajarishta later if needed, but not as a replacement ideal combination for you (simple and sufficient) kutaj ghan vati – 2 tab twice daily bilvadi churna – ½ tsp twice daily before meals dadimashtaka churna – ½ tsp after meals 👉 this is enough, no need to overload medicines diet (this will decide your cure) take: rice + moong dal pomegranate buttermilk with roasted jeera + pinch rock salt light, warm food avoid: milk (temporarily) spicy, fried food excess ghee raw foods one important correction Since your condition is >6 months, don’t try to “stop motions completely”. 👉 aim is: 1–2 well-formed stools/day good digestion Over-stopping can worsen vata later. how long to take medicines 2–3 weeks → stabilisation then gradually taper
Mam should i skip mustarishtam?
If it’s bothering you by its effects or you have palatability issue… you can skip it If not then continueit will help to make your stool well formed.
