How to treat chronic pancreatitis with pain, loss of appetite, and bloating? - #53961
Sir I have chronic pancreatitis..it pain always and I have trouble eating anything. I feel loss of appetite and bloating and my stools are sometime solid and sometime liquid.

Chronic pancreatitis (Agnimandya + Pitta imbalance) 1. Diet Take light, warm, low-fat food Prefer: moong dal, lauki, tori, rice gruel (kanji), vegetable soups Avoid: fried, oily, spicy, alcohol, red meat, packaged food Eat small frequent meals (every 3–4 hrs) 2. Rx Avipattikar churna – 1 tsp twice a day after meal (reduces pitta, helps digestion) Kutki churna – 1 gm powder twice a day after meal (supports liver–pancreas function) Giloye tab 1 tab twicea day after meal ( anti-inflammatory, improves appetite) Tab Punarnava mandoor - 2 tab twice a day after meal Hingvashtak churna – before meals for gas & digestion 3. For pain & bloating Warm water + small pinch of ajwain after meals Gentle abdominal massage with warm sesame oil Avoid long gaps in meals (reduces pain flare) 4. Lifestyle No alcohol or smoking (strictly) Manage stress (pranayama, light breathing) Proper rest, avoid heavy exercise during pain phase
