This looks like a mild imbalance of Pitta dosha and Vata dosha caused by food that is heavy or not well suited to your digestion (like brinjal at night). It can lead to gas and stomach pain. –Rx: 1) Aimil Neeri Syrup 2 tsp twice daily after meals 2) Amlycure DS Syrup 2 tsp twice daily before meals 3) tab trifla 1 at bed time —Advice (Pathya-Apathya): Light diet (khichdi, dal, warm food) Avoid brinjal, oily, spicy food Take jeera/ajwain water — for 5 days

Hello, Stomach aches following a meal of brinjal (eggplant) can often be attributed to its heavy, slightly “vayu” (gas-forming) nature, especially when consumed at night when digestion naturally slows down. In Ayurveda, brinjal is considered Ushna (heating) and can aggravate Pitta and Vata. If not cooked with digestive spices, it can lead to Ajirna (indigestion) and Vistambha (gas/bloating). The goal is to stimulate the digestive fire (Agni) and clear the accumulated toxins (Ama). Prescription : 1. Abhayarishtam: A fermented liquid that helps in relieving flatulence and promoting easy bowel movements. Dose: 15–20 ml mixed with an equal amount of lukewarm water, twice daily after food. 2. Hinguvadi Gulika: This tablet contains Asafoetida (Hingu) and is excellent for relieving abdominal distension and colicky pain. Dose: 1–2 tablets crushed and taken with lukewarm water or buttermilk. 3. Dhanwantharam Pill: Highly effective for “Vata-type” stomach discomfort and bloating. Dose: 1–2 pills sucked or swallowed with cumin-infused water. Apply a heating pad to the abdomen to relax the muscles. Sip on warm water boiled with a small piece of fresh ginger to aid digestion. Stay away from dairy or cold drinks for the next 12 hours to let your digestion reset.

Stomach ache after eating brinjal (baingan) is usually due to aggravation of Vata and Pitta and weak digestion (Mandagni) in Ayurveda. What you can do Take warm water frequently to improve digestion Drink ajwain + black salt with lukewarm water (reduces gas & pain) Sip jeera (cumin) water or ginger tea after meals Apply warm castor oil on abdomen and do mild fomentation If pain is more, take hing (asafoetida) with warm water Diet advice: Avoid brinjal, heavy, oily, and spicy food for 1–2 days Prefer light food like khichdi, moong dal, rice Eat warm, freshly cooked food only Ayurvedic medicines (if needed): Hingvastak churna before meals Avipattikar churna if acidity is present

A stomach ache after eating brinjal at night is quite common especially if your digestion is a bit sensitive. Brinjal is considered: “Ushna” (heating) and slightly heavy to digest Can aggravate Pitta (acidity) and Vata (gas, pain)—especially at night when digestion is naturally weaker. 🪔 Immediate Relief ✅ 1. Boil water with: ½ tsp ajwain A pinch of hing Sip warm slowly 👉 Relieves gas and cramping quickly ✅ 2. Hing application Mix a pinch of hing with warm water → make a paste Apply around the navel 👉 Helps reduce abdominal pain RX- Avipattikar churna – ½ tsp at night for 5 days. For next 2 days avoid heavy Meals instead prefer khichdi , moong daal, plain rice+ ghee. Dr. Muskan Chopra Ayurveda Consultant

Hello, This is a common food triggered digestive disturbance, especially with brinjal at night In Ayurveda, brinjal can -increase vata = gas, pain, bloating -aggravate pitta (acidity) in some people -be hard to digest at night 1) Immediate relief Gas + Pain relief -Hinguvachadi gulika= 1 tab after meals twice daily =relieves gas, cramps, abdominal pain Digestion support -Vasiwanara churna= 1/2 tsp with warm water after meals =improves digestion, reduces bloating 2) Simple home remedies -warm water sipping -ajwain + pinch salt -gentle hot water bag on abdomen Diet for next 1-2 days -light foods only -khichdi -rice + moong dal -warm soups Avoid -brinjal (for now) -fried, spicy food -cold foods. drinks Why this happened -Brinjal at night-> heavy + gas forming -night digestion is weaker -leads to Ama + vata aggravation -> pain and bloating Recovery time -same day/ next day relief expected -if proper care taken no long term issue This is not a disease- just a food intolerance + timing. issue Avoid gas forming foods at night to prevent recurrence Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

Stomach pain after brinjal at night is usually due to temporary indigestion or sensitivity, especially if digestion is a bit weak at night. Keep food light for the next 1–2 meals. Avoid oily, spicy, and heavy items. Drink warm water in small sips to help digestion. At home, you can take a pinch of ajwain with a little salt and warm water. Ginger tea or jeera water can also help reduce discomfort. Hingvastak churna – ½ teaspoon with warm water after food Avipattikar tablet – 1 tablet if there is burning or heaviness This should settle the pain quickly. If pain persists, increases, or is associated with vomiting, then get it checked. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
