How to treat chronic malabsorption and hormonal issues after Amoebiasis in a 22-year-old male? - #55050
I am a 22-year-old male seeking help for chronic malabsorption and hormonal suppression that began after a case of Amoebiasis five months ago. Although the infection was treated, my stools have never normalized; they remain pale, greasy, and foul-smelling, and my blood work shows persistent high Eosinophils (9%) and a borderline high ESR (20). This gut crisis has caused my reproductive system to shut down, with my LH signal dropping from 7.11 to 3.07 and Free Testosterone crashing to 22 pg/mL, leaving me with extreme fatigue and loss of vitality. Despite normal inflammation markers (Calprotectin 41, CRP 5) and healthy organ function (Lipase, Bilirubin, HbA1c all normal), I am unable to absorb fats or nutrients, as evidenced by my low Vitamin D (26.5) and low HDL (34.7)." I m tired of finding disease but every doctor keep saying normal . I have my reproductive tissue shrinked and ed along with extreme fatigue and i feel my body not absorbing food even doctor told me to stop diary and gluten because of high eosinophils pls give me advice

Your symptoms suggest post-infectious gut dysfunction with malabsorption and weakened digestion/agni. Chronic loose greasy stools, fatigue, low HDL, low Vitamin D, and weight or hormone changes can happen when nutrients are not properly absorbed. High eosinophils may also indicate food intolerance, allergy, parasitic tendency, or eosinophilic gut inflammation. Continue follow-up with a gastroenterologist because stool tests, celiac testing, repeat parasite evaluation, and sometimes endoscopy may still be needed. Take Kutajghan Vati 2 tablets twice daily after food. Bilwadi Churna 3 grams twice daily with warm water before food. Avipattikar Churna 3 grams at night if acidity/burning present. Shatavari Churna 3 grams with warm water or plant milk at night for weakness. Diet Strictly avoid junk food, fried food, excess sugar, alcohol. If dairy and gluten worsen symptoms, continue avoiding them. Eat simple warm foods: rice gruel, moong dal, boiled vegetables, pomegranate, banana. Small frequent meals. Avoid cold foods and protein powders. Lifestyle Sleep properly. Light walking and yoga only until strength improves. Reduce stress and overchecking hormones repeatedly.
Thank you for the response i already did endoscopy its normal now i again did parasite research now i have shigella in my stool
Persistent pale, greasy stools, fatigue, low Vitamin D, and hormonal weakness after Amoebiasis suggest that your Agni (digestive fire) and Grahani (intestinal absorption system) have become weakened after infection. In Ayurveda, this is commonly seen as Grahani Roga with Ama accumulation, where food is not properly digested or absorbed, leading to weakness of all body tissues including Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue). Your symptoms indicate: Weak digestion and fat malabsorption Residual gut inflammation/toxins (Ama) Possible food sensitivities after infection Nutritional depletion causing hormonal suppression and fatigue The good sign is that major organ tests and inflammatory markers are mostly normal, which means recovery is possible with proper gut healing and nourishment. Ayurvedic Management 1. First Step — Heal Digestion & Absorption Focus on improving digestion before trying hormonal tonics. Useful Ayurvedic medicines Kutajghan Vati – helps chronic loose, greasy stools and restores intestinal balance Bilwadi Churna or Nagarmotha – improves absorption and reduces foul stools Avipattikar Churna (small dose) if acidity/burning present Takra (thin buttermilk) with roasted cumin and rock salt if dairy is tolerated; otherwise avoid milk products temporarily 2. Diet Guidelines (Very Important) For 6–8 weeks: Avoid: gluten, dairy, fried food, junk food, excess sugar, cold drinks, alcohol, protein powders Prefer: Warm freshly cooked meals Moong dal khichdi Rice + cooked vegetables Pomegranate Steamed apples Ginger + cumin in food Small frequent meals Avoid overeating because weak Agni worsens malabsorption. 3. Rebuild Strength & Hormonal Health Once stools improve: Ashwagandha Shatavari Safed Musli Chyawanprash (small quantity) These help restore energy, testosterone balance, muscle strength, and reproductive tissue gradually. 4. Correct Lifestyle Sleep on time Avoid excessive stress and overthinking Avoid excessive masturbation/porn stimulation during recovery Gentle walking and light yoga only; avoid heavy gym until digestion improves
