I am worried that my habits may have affected my sexual health and overall well-being. I want to recover naturally and improve my energy, fitness, confidence, and sexual health. Could you please guide me on the diet, lifestyle changes, exercise routine, sleep habits, and daily practices I should follow for proper recovery?

Hello dear, It is very common to feel concerned when you experience a dip in energy and mood, but it is important to clarify a significant medical fact first: Masturbation, regardless of frequency or position, does not cause physical weakness, weight loss, or permanent damage to sexual health. The symptoms you are describing low motivation, fatigue, and reduced confidence are often more closely linked to psychological stress, nutritional gaps, or the “guilt” associated with the habit rather than the physical act itself. At 51 kg and 5.6 ft, your BMI is on the lower side, which likely contributes to your feeling of physical weakness. Here is a holistic approach to reclaiming your vitality and building a stronger version of yourself. In Ayurveda, your symptoms suggest an imbalance in Vata Dosha and a depletion of Ojas (vital energy). To recover, the focus is on Brimhana (nourishing therapy) and Vajikarana (rejuvenation). Ayurveda Medicine : 1. Ashwagandharishtam: 20 ml with an equal amount of lukewarm water, twice daily after meals. This helps manage stress and improves vigor. 2. Chyavanprash: 1 teaspoon every morning on an empty stomach, followed by a cup of warm milk. This builds immunity and “Ojas.” To increase your weight and energy, you need a “surplus” of nutrient-dense foods. Healthy Fats: Include ghee, nuts (almonds and walnuts), and seeds in your daily meals. Protein & Complex Carbs: Focus on paneer, lentils, bananas, and oats. The “Ojas” Drink: Blend 2 soaked dates, 5 soaked almonds, and a pinch of cardamom into a glass of warm milk. Drink this before bed. Exercise (Strength Training): To improve confidence and weight, move away from excessive cardio and focus on basic bodyweight movements (push-ups, squats, planks) 3–4 times a week. This naturally boosts testosterone and mood. Sleep Hygiene: Aim for 7–8 hours of sleep. Ensure you are in bed by 10:30 PM to align with your body’s natural circadian rhythm for hormonal repair. Mindset Shift: Practice “Sattvic” living. Instead of focusing on “quitting” a habit, focus on adding new ones. When the urge arises, immediately do 10 push-ups or 5 minutes of deep breathing (Pranayama like Anulom Vilom). Sunlight: Spend 15 minutes in the morning sun to improve Vitamin D levels, which is crucial for mood and hormonal health. Here I suggested you a good daily routine for you… You can follow this accordingly… 1. Morning: Warm water, 15 minutes of Yoga/Pranayama, and a heavy breakfast. Afternoon: Protein-rich lunch followed by a 10-minute walk. 2. Evening: 30 minutes of strength exercise and a snack of nuts or fruit. 3. Night: Digital detox 1 hour before bed; read a book or meditate to calm the mind.

Frequent masturbation does not usually cause permanent sexual weakness, but excessive habit, poor sleep, anxiety, guilt, low nutrition, and inactivity can lead to fatigue, low confidence, stress, and weakness. Recovery is possible with proper routine, nutrition, exercise, and mind control. Take Ashwagandha Churna 3 grams with warm milk at night after food. Chyawanprash 1 teaspoon morning daily with milk. Shilajit Capsule 1 capsule after breakfast daily for 2 months. Diet: Increase protein: milk, ghee, paneer, eggs, black gram, soaked almonds, dates, banana. Eat regular meals. Drink enough water. Avoid junk food, excess tea, energy drinks, smoking, alcohol. Lifestyle Stop stomach-pressure masturbation habit gradually. Avoid porn and late-night mobile use. Sleep 7–8 hours before 11 PM. Morning sunlight and walking daily.

In Ayurveda, this involves balancing Ojas (vitality/immunity) and Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue), which can be depleted by excessive habits and mental fatigue. Rebuilding Shukra and Ojas (Vitality) Frequent depletion can lead to Vata aggravation, causing low energy and mood dips. To counter this: Dietary Support: Incorporate Sattvic foods that are heavy and nourishing. Focus on milk, ghee, almonds, walnuts, dates, anjeer and fresh fruits like bananas and pomegranates. Use some medicine 1. Ashwagandha+ satavari+ musali powder mix all 3 powder and 1/2 tsf in afternoon or in night with luckwarm milk after food. 2. Bramhi vati 1 BD with normal water after food 3. Shankpushpi swaras 10ml BD with normal water after food Fitness and Physical Agility At 21, your body has immense recovery potential. Yoga Asanas: Practice Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) for overall circulation. Specific poses like Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand) and Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend) help regulate the endocrine system and improve blood flow to the pelvic region. Pranayama: Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing) is essential for balancing the nervous system and improving mental clarity. Lifestyle Adjustments (Dinacharya) Sleep Cycle: Aim to be in bed by 10:00 PM. High-quality sleep between 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM is vital for tissue repair and hormonal balance. Cold Water Splash: Whenever the urge arises, splash cold water on your face and genitals. This provides an immediate sensory shift.

Frequent masturbation does not usually cause permanent damage, but excessive habits along with stress, poor physical activity, irregular routine, and overthinking can reduce energy, confidence, motivation, and mental strength. At your age, the body has a very good recovery capacity if you follow a disciplined lifestyle consistently. From an Ayurveda perspective, this condition is often linked with low vitality, mental fatigue, weak digestion, stress, and depletion of body strength (Ojas). The goal is to rebuild strength naturally through proper food, exercise, sleep, and mind control. Daily Recovery Plan 1. Diet for Strength & Weight Gain Increase protein-rich foods: milk, ghee, paneer, soaked almonds, black raisins, dates, मूंग dal, sesame, banana, peanut chikki. Take 1 glass warm milk with 1 tsp Ashwagandha at night if it suits your digestion. Eat homemade fresh meals regularly; avoid junk food, excess spicy food, cold drinks, and excessive tea/coffee. Do not skip breakfast. 2. Exercise & Fitness Start with 20–30 mins daily exercise. Include pushups, squats, Surya Namaskar, light jogging, and stretching. Morning sunlight and sweating through exercise help improve testosterone balance, mood, and confidence naturally. 3. Control the Habit Naturally Avoid lying on the stomach while sleeping. Keep yourself busy with study, work, sports, and social interaction. Reduce mobile use and adult content exposure, especially at night. Practice deep breathing or meditation when urges increase. 4. Sleep & Mental Health Sleep before 11 PM consistently. Wake up early and avoid late-night scrolling. Practice pranayama like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari daily for mental calmness and confidence. 5. Ayurvedic Support Helpful Ayurvedic herbs often include Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Chyawanprash for strength, recovery, stamina, and mental wellness, but they should be taken in proper dosage according to body type and digestion. With regular discipline, most people start noticing better energy, mood, appetite, and confidence within 6–12 weeks naturally.

Your symptoms are more related to mental stress, low physical activity, irregular habits, and overfocus on masturbation rather than permanent damage. At your age, recovery is usually very good with proper routine and consistency. Do not panic or feel guilty. The goal should be reducing the frequency gradually and improving overall strength and confidence. Avoid masturbation while lying on the stomach, as it can create unnecessary pressure and conditioning. Reduce porn and late-night phone use. Focus on building the body: Daily exercise 30–45 minutes (pushups, squats, walking, light strength training) Protein-rich diet: milk, paneer, eggs (if taken), dal, nuts, banana, dates Sleep before 11 pm Morning sunlight and outdoor activity At home: 5 soaked almonds + 2 dates daily 1 glass milk with little ghee at night Ashwagandha capsule – 1 capsule at bedtime Chyawanprash – 1 teaspoon morning Brahmi vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food This will help improve energy, mood, confidence, and physical strength gradually. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
