Try incorporating more cooling and nourishing foods like cucumbers, melons, and coconut water. They not only help balance Pitta but also hydrate naturally.

Hydration’s key too. Are you drinking enough water every day? It sounds simple, right, but it really does matter for skin health. Aim for at least 8 glasses a day, it keeps your skin plump and helps flush out toxins.

External applications can help too. You might want to try making a paste using sandalwood powder and rose water. Apply it on your face 2-3 times a week, wash off after 20 mins. Sandalwood’s cooling and can help soothe Pitta.

Abhyanga, or oil massage, with a gentle herbal oil like kumkumadi tailam could support skin health as well. Try regular gentle massages, particularly before a bath, which can nourish your skin from the outside.

Life can be stressful, can’t it? Increased stress can sometimes aggravate dosha imbalances. Deep breathing exercises or yoga practices could do wonders not just for your mind, but also for your skin by balancing Vata and Pitta.
