Yes there is cure for IBS in ayurveda. As ayurveda treats all diseases through gut i.e if gut is healthy no disease so u can go with shamana aushadhi which ignites agni in GIT(stomach)later on shodhana.

Hello Humayoun, Your symptoms suggest long-standing IBS with constipation (IBS-C), disturbed sleep, and metabolic imbalance. Ayurveda focuses on balancing Vata and Pitta doshas to relieve IBS. Avoid cold, dry, and processed foods, and eat warm, easily digestible meals. Include moong dal khichdi, ghee, and fiber-rich vegetables in your diet.

For better digestion and bowel regulation, try Triphala churna (1 tsp with warm water at bedtime) and drink cumin-coriander-fennel tea after meals. Regular abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame oil can help calm Vata. Have you noticed if stress worsens your symptoms? Meditation, yoga (Pawanmuktasana, Vajrasana), and deep breathing can help.

Your high triglycerides and BP indicate metabolic imbalance. Let me know if you’d like a detailed plan. A proper Ayurvedic assessment is needed for a personalized treatment approach.

Dealing with IBS for so long sounds tough, especially with how it disrupts your social life and sleep. Ayurveda offers ways to manage the symptoms by getting to the root cause. Now, since you’re trending towards IBS-C, we’d want to focus on balancing your Vata dosha, that’s often a culprit in constipation issues.

Start by looking at your diet. Aim for cooked, warm foods rather than raw ones. Things like well-cooked vegetables, stews, and soups — they’re gentler on your digestive system. Add a bit of ghee, it can be beneficial for Vata imbalances. You might find adding a spoonful of Triphala powder with warm water before bed helps regulate your bowel movements; it’s a classic remedy.

Life’s stressful, right? So daily routines can stable your Vata too. Try morning self-massages with warm sesame oil, it’s soothing! Yoga and mild exercises, they’re good for the mind and body, promoting relaxation and easing stress. Getting some peaceful moments, even if it’s just five minutes to breathe deeply, can help balance your system.

For the higher triglycerides and blood pressure, consider spices like turmeric or garlic. including these in your diet may help manage lipid levels. Also oats an barley are worth considering. However, be cautious and consult your doctor, especially regarding your cholesterol and blood pressure.

Hydration’s crucial too, but avoid having cold drinks. Try sipping on herbal teas, like ginger or fennel which aid digestion.

Herbs like ashwagandha may support your stress levels. Your digestion’s linked to stress, so it kinda connects, right? But with anything new, check in with a healthcare professional just to be safe as they know your medical history best.

And remember, it’s always key to your health to continue any prescribed medications by doctors, especially for blood pressure. Ayurveda can be supportive, but never delay or dismiss other medical advice!
