Your symptoms sound quite distressing. Severe gas, bloating, frequent burping, heaviness in the head, weakness, and feeling temporarily relieved after burping can occur with digestive disorders, but they can also sometimes be related to anxiety, reflux, food intolerance, or other medical conditions. —Rx: 1) Hingwashtak Churna – 3 g with first morsel of lunch and dinner. 2) Agnitundi Vati – 2 tablets twice daily after meals. 3) Kumaryasava – 20 ml + equal water twice daily after meals. 4) Avipattikar Churna – 5 g at bedtime with lukewarm water (if constipation/acidity present). —Pathya: Warm, light, freshly cooked food. Avoid cold drinks, curd at night, bakery items, fried foods, excess tea/coffee, and overeating. Take a 15–20 minute walk after meals. —Vihara: Regular meal timings. Avoid daytime sleeping and late-night waking. Practice deep breathing/Anulom-Vilom daily. —Follow-up: 2–3 weeks. If severe weight loss, persistent weakness, vomiting, blood in stool, or significant abdominal pain is present, further evaluation is advised.
Your symptoms—severe gas, bloating, continuous burping, heaviness in the head, leg pain, weakness, and feeling relieved only after belching—strongly indicate Vata aggravation with Mandagni (weak digestive fire) and accumulation of Ama (undigested toxins) in the body. When digestion becomes weak, food is not properly digested, leading to excessive gas formation. This trapped gas can move upward and downward, causing abdominal bloating, heaviness in the head, body aches, fatigue, and a feeling of exhaustion. The relief you experience after burping is a classic sign that accumulated Vata is being released. Rx Hingvashtak Churna – ½ teaspoon with the first bite of lunch and dinner. Avipattikar Churna – 1 teaspoon at bedtime with warm water if there is acidity, bloating, or constipation. Kumaryasava – 15 ml with equal water after meals twice daily. Diet & Lifestyle • Drink warm water throughout the day. • Avoid cold drinks, curd at night, fried foods, bakery items, and excess tea/coffee. • Eat freshly cooked light meals. • Take a gentle walk for 10–15 minutes after meals. • Avoid sleeping during the daytime. With proper digestion correction, gas, bloating, heaviness, and weakness usually improve gradually. Important: If you are above 40 years of age, have significant weight loss, persistent weakness, anemia, blood in stool, or symptoms lasting for many months, please undergo medical evaluation as well to rule out any underlying digestive disorder.
