Hello Fatima, Your symptoms indicate severe calcium and vitamin D deficiency, worsened by menopause and blood sugar fluctuations. Since when have you been experiencing tooth breakage and bone sensitivity? Do you also feel joint stiffness or muscle cramps? Menopause leads to Vata imbalance, affecting bones, digestion, and energy levels.

Start Mukta Shukti Pishti (250 mg twice daily) for calcium absorption and Ashwagandha Avaleha (1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime) to strengthen bones and reduce weakness. Take Praval Panchamrit (125 mg twice daily) for bone health and Khadirarishta (2 tsp after meals) for skin and sugar control. Apply Dhanwantharam Taila for back pain and do mild stretches. Have you checked your vitamin D and parathyroid hormone levels recently

Hi Fatima,

Can you tell me if you’ve noticed any other symptoms related to menopause, like hot flashes, mood swings, or sleep disturbances? Additionally, how is your diet, particularly in terms of calcium, vitamin D, and iron intake? Do you have any issues with digestion or acidity that might affect your stomach ulcers? Understanding your nutritional intake and stress levels will help me recommend a more personalized Ayurvedic approach.

Wow, it sounds like you’re really going through a lot right now, and dealing with these issues can be pretty overwhelming. You’re mentioning broken teeth, menopause, blood sugar issues, lots of fizzling weakness, ulcers, back pain - everything seems to be piling on at once, huh?

With your situation, one of our priorities is to balance your body’s doshas. In Ayurveda, menopause can often be a time when Vata dosha, related to air and space, becomes imbalanced. This could lead to dryness (like your teeth and bones being affected) and joint or back pain.

So, to start with, focusing on stabilizing Vata might be helpful. Warming, soothing foods like soups cooked in a bit of ghee, could be good. Do you like warm milk? You might try having a glass at night with a little turmeric or nutmeg. It’s soothing and can calm Vata.

Your calcium and vitamin D deficiencies are critical here - but remember, supplements can only do so much. Try sunbathing in the softer morning sunlight to boost those D levels naturally. If your bones are feeling especially angry, the mineral-rich herb Shatavari can be beneficial and is known for supporting women’s health in particular.

When it comes to sugar levels and ulcers, it’s a bit of a balancing act because you want to avoid stress – stress can exacerbate ulcers, increase sugar levels, everything. Herbal teas like chamomile or licorice root can be gentle on the stomach and might aid your digestion without agitating your ulcers.

You mentioned that you’re feeling bone sensitivity. Would you consider gentle yoga or stretching exercises? They’re great for addressing back pain and strengthening bones. But please, don’t overdo it - just gentle movements.

Remember, Ayurveda’s great, but your condition sounds like it also calls for regular consultation with an allopathic doctor, especially given your menopause and sugar situation. Safety first, yeah? Make sure you’re getting proper care from all fronts.

Hope some of this helps you start feeling a little better. Take it slow, be kind to yourself. Life’s a journey, right?
