Hello Lucky, Do you have stiffness along with pain or only pain? Dizziness & nausea? When were the latest xray or scans done? To manage your bloating, bad breath, and difficulty losing weight, along with cervical spondylitis, an Ayurvedic approach can be beneficial. Start with Avipattikar Churna (1 teaspoon with warm water, 30 minutes before lunch and dinner) to reduce acidity and improve digestion. Additionally, take Yogaraj Guggulu (1 tablet twice a day after meals) to support joint health and reduce inflammation. In your diet, focus on warm, light, and easily digestible foods like soups, stews, and steamed vegetables while avoiding heavy, oily, and fried foods. Including digestive spices like cumin, ajwain, and fennel seeds can help relieve bloating. Triphala powder (1 teaspoon with warm water before bed) can also aid in detoxification and improve gut health. For your cervical spondylitis, gentle neck stretches and rotations, along with yoga poses like Bhujangasana and Marjariasana, can provide relief. Daily oil massages using warm sesame oil can further reduce stiffness and discomfort. Ensure you stay hydrated with warm water and practice breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom to manage stress and support digestion. Following this regimen for 4 to 6 weeks can bring noticeable improvements.

Hi Lucky,

To better understand your situation, may I ask if you experience any other digestive issues like acidity, constipation, or irregular bowel movements? How is your energy level throughout the day, especially with the cervical spondylitis? Additionally, could you share your typical diet and any physical activities you currently engage in? This will help in providing more tailored advice.

Hey there, first of all, it’s really important to be gentle with yourself—weight loss can be tricky, especially with cervical spondylitis and digestive issues going on. So, about that bloating and bad breath, it sounds like your agni, or digestive fire, might be weak. And that can lead to this whole cycle of bloating when you skip meals.

Instead of fasting, try eating smaller, more frequent meals that are easy to digest. Think warm soups, stews, or khichdi. This should be kinder to your stomach and help with digestion. And add a little ginger or cumin to your meals —it’s great for digestion and can aid in reducing bloating.

Cervical spondylitis can be aggravated by stress too. So, practicing deep breathing exercises or gentle yoga, suitable for your condition, might be beneficial. Pehaps consult with a yoga instructor familiar with your condition for appropriate poses.

Now, about ayurvedic supplements. Ashwagandha is known for reducing stress which might be helpful indirectly for weight management, but it’s more for strength and stamina. Triphala is outstanding for supporting digestion and detoxification, so it might help with bloating. You could have a teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water before bed.

Lastly, aim for stability in your routine. Regular meals and sleep pattern can make a difference. And make room for light activity like walking – it gets everything moving without being hard on your joints.

Always try to scheck with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement especially with your specific conditions. Stay gentle with yourself, it’s a journey, not a race. Hope some of this helps!
