Ah, I see you’re really struggling with this for a while now. GERD, or gastro-esophageal reflux disease, can be really pesky. Your symptoms suggest a Pitta imbalance, especially when there’s acidity, nausea, and that sensation in the chest and throat. Let’s talk about some practical Ayurvedic ways you can tackle this.

First off, your diet might need some adjusting. Avoid spicy, oily, and fried foods – these are like adding fuel to the Pitta fire. Think cooling and calming foods, like cucumber, pumpkins, or sweet fruits. Warm meals but not hot, you know? Drink coconut water and aloe vera juice; both are Pitta pacifiers. About half an hour before meals, try sipping on some warm water with a pinch of cumin or coriander powder. It helps balance agni, your digestive fire.

Now your lifestyle: Avoid skipping meals which can worsen Pitta. Regular meals, three times a day, try not to overeat too. Take a short walk after meals; don’t lie down right away. Elevate your head a bit when you sleep, for that feeling of something stuck in your throat. Yoga might help too, mindful of postures; sun salutations done gently can be beneficial.

Herbs can really be friends here. A teaspoon of Triphala with warm water before bed. Ginger and honey paste taken in the morning can aid, though avoid this if your stomach’s overly acidic. Let’s talk about relaxation – stress can aggravate Pitta. Find a few minutes each day for meditation or deep breathing, even if it feel hard to fit it in.

Your dizzyness and headache could be tied to these imbalances too, so focus on these routes first. Remember, if things don’t improve, or get worse, seeing a healthcare provider is top priority. Safety first! Make sure to reach out to an Ayurvedic practitioner for a more specific pulse diagnosis as well. At the end, it’s about finding harmony in the body so it can heal itself.
