It sounds like your post-menopausal skin changes could be related to your dosha balance, especially since you’re noticing itching and bumps. Sounds uncomfortable, I’m sorry to hear that! Now, your symptoms might relate to an imbalance in Pitta dosha, which governs heat and metabolism in the body. Itchiness and redness, that’s usually a telltale sign of excess heat in the body.

Before jumping to conclusions, remember this needs a proper clinical diagnosis, please see a healthcare pro if this gets worse or doesn’t clear up. But since you’re lookin’ for an Ayurvedic angle, let’s dive in.

About those natural blood purifiers you mentioned, yes, they could help. Mahamanjishtadi Kwath is an herbal decoction that’s been well-known for its blood purifying properties. Usually comes in liquid form, pretty handy. Try around 15ml mixed with an equal quantity of water, twice daily on an empty stomach. Mind you tho - if you’re already medicated or have any other health conditions, better run it by your doctor first.

For diet, you may wanna steer clear of spicy, greasy, and sour foods. These heat-heavy foods can flair up your Pitta. Cooling foods like cucumber, melon, and tender coconut water can do wonders in soothing that heat. Sometimes, simple changes like these do make a big difference.

And, don’t forget hydration - keeping skin moisurized from the outside helps as much as drinking plenty of water will. Maybe try a little sesame oil massage in your daily routine. It’s nourishing and calming for the skin, but again, test it first on a small patch to see how your skin reacts.

And lastly, stress level. It’s common to overloook but stress too can aggravate skin issues. So spending a little time each day with deep breathing or meditation could greatly add to the healing and balance.

Just sayin’ this ain’t meant to replace medical advice! Keep an eye on those symptoms, and when in doubt, seek a practitioner’s guidance. Take care!
