Considering the list of Ayurvedic medicines you’re taking, it’s possible that the side effects you’re experiencing may be linked to the balance of your doshas and the properties of these specific bhasmas. Your Ayurvedic physician noted dry mucous membranes as a potential cause, which aligns with Vata dosha imbalances—often characterized by dryness and emptiness sensations. The increased hunger, thirst, and urination could also relate to an aggravation of Pitta or Vata, depending on your underlying constitution and current state.

Addressing your concerns, it’s important to tailor the treatment while keeping your Prakriti and Vikriti in mind. Bhasmas like Swarna and Rajat are potent and need careful prescribing, especially since they can sometimes unsettle the balance if not correctly aligned with your body’s needs.

Firstly, grounding the Vata could be helpful. Ensure you’re incorporating nourishing, unctuous foods: think warm, oily, and cooked meals that ease digestion. Ghee could be an excellent addition to soothe membranes. Hydration should be managed carefully — not too much, as to avoid exacerbating the cleansing symptoms.

For constipation, simple remedies include increased fiber through vegetables and warm sips throughout day, aiding better bowel movements. Adding Trikatu or a bit of ginger tea might support Agni without overwhelming it.

Consult again with your Ayurvedic doctor to evaluate if dosages need adjusting or substitutes considered. Sometimes less is more, especially with potent formulas like Loha and Mandoor Bhasma. In Ayurveda, customization of treatment is crucial. If the symptoms persist or intensify, consulting a healthcare professional outside of Ayurveda may also be beneficial to rule out any other underlying issues needing attention.

Your holistic regimen should harmonize with your unique constitution without causing distress, and it’s okay to revisit or pivot the approach when required.

Experiencing side effects like increased hunger and thirst, increased urination, constipation, and a sense of emptiness in the brain could relate to an imbalance in vata and pitta doshas. Some Ayurvedic medicines, especially bhasmas (metallic preparations), may trigger such reactions if they affect your body’s natural balance or if they’re not suited to your prakriti (body constitution).

Bhasmas require careful administration under the supervision of a qualified practitioner due to their potent nature. The depleting sensation in the brain, often descriebd as emptiness, might point to an underlying vata disturbance, which can sometimes be exacerbated by the wrong combination or dosage of these potent formulations.

If your symptoms persist, it would be wise to reassess these medications with your Ayurvedic doctor. Meanwhile, consider these steps:

1. Review Dosage: Verify the dosage with your practitioner. Sometimes reducing the amount can mitigate these side effects.

2. Address Dry Mucosa: Drink warm water with a pinch of rock salt or sip herbal teas like ginger or licorice to maintain hydration and support mucosal health.

3. Diet Adjustments: Eat grounding and moistening foods such as ghee, cooked vegetables, and stews. Avoid dry and raw foods which could aggaravate vata.

4. Herb Support: Incorporating herbs like Brahmi or Ashwagandha may help stabilize mental clarity and reduce the feeling of emptiness.

Seek immediate medical attention if symptoms worsen, as this ensures your health is not compromised. Always ensure open communication with your Ayurvedic practitioner to align treatments with your current condition.
