डॉक्टरों की प्रतिक्रियाएं

Pain in the upper stomach and back can be caused by:

Acidity or Gastritis: Inflammation of the stomach lining due to spicy foods, alcohol, or stress. Gas and Bloating: Trapped gas causing referred pain to the back. Gallbladder Issues: Gallstones or inflammation can cause pain in the upper abdomen and radiate to the back. Pancreatitis: Inflammation of the pancreas can lead to severe pain in these areas. Muscle Strain: Poor posture or physical strain may mimic such pain. Next Steps: Avoid heavy, spicy, or oily meals. Stay hydrated and try herbal teas like ginger or peppermint. Use over-the-counter antacids for immediate relief. Consult a doctor for tests like ultrasound if pain persists or worsens.

Could be a few reasons for that discomfort in your upper stomach and back. Often, in Ayurveda, we look at the balance of the doshas. Kapha, Pitta, Vata - knowing your predominant dosha helps figure out what might be triggering pain. But this sounds a bit like there could be a connection to digestion or stress, which makes sense since pitta’s fire can sometimes flare up causing burning or sharp pain. Might be gastritis or something like stomach ulcers - conditions like this could cause pain radiating to the back.

Do you notice it more after eating spicy or oily foods? That could aggravate Pitta and lead to such pains. I’d suggest trying to cool things down internally. Maybe start with some coriander seed tea, a teaspoon steeped in hot water, three times a day. It’s cooling and calming for Pitta. You can even munch on few fennel seeds after meals as it soothes the digestion.

If stress is a companion, mind doing some deep breathing exercises? Pranayama, especially Nadi Shodhana, a few minutes daily might help. Or even just meditate. That anxiety can form knots you don’t see but feel as pain, you know?

Notice it appears when you skip meals? Maintaining a regular eating schedule can stabilize that digestive fire or Agni. Overeating or eating too late in the evening, though, can stoke problem symptoms. But please, and this is important, if the pain is sharp, intense, or accompanies things like fever, vomiting, or black stools, see a healthcare professional pronto. Can’t rule out serious issues like gallbladder stones or pancreatitis.

For now, cut down on spicy, fried foods, limit caffeine and alcohol if that’s in your routine. Little steps. Might even help switching to small, frequent meals to ease the digestive load. Remember, each person’s health and symptoms are uniquely their own, so tailor the advice as you observe and feel your body. Be gentle with it.
