Excessive heat in the body, or ‘daha’, often points towards an imbalance in the Pitta dosha. Triphala churna is a good choice since it can aid in detoxifying and balancing digestion, but moderation is key. Given that you’re taking it in powder form in the morning and as tablets twice more throughout the day, you might be overdoing it. Too much Triphala could potentially overstimulate Pitta rather than calm it.

Consider scaling back to taking Triphala once a day before bed. This timing can enhance bowel cleansing and prevent heat build-up without overly stimulating your system. Mixing a teaspoon of Triphala powder in warm water or taking a single tablet should suffice. Also, be mindful of taking it on an empty stomach as it’d be the most effective this way.

Dietary adjustments can also help in managing excess body heat. Opt for cooling foods like cucumbers, melons, and leafy greens. Avoid spicy and fried foods, which can aggravate Pitta. Including cooling spices like coriander, mint, and fennel may assist in reducing heat.

Stay hydrated with room-temperature water, avoid iced drinks which can disturb digestion. A hydrating drink made with boiled white pumpkin and sugar cane juice can be soothing.

Regular physical activity such as yoga or brisk walking, preferably during cooler parts of the day, can help maintain balance. Light pranayama like Shitali and Sheetkari can provide immediate relief from excess heat. Avoid direct sun exposure and use natural, breathable fabrics to keep physically cool.

Monitor symptoms closely. If none of these adjustments seem to alleviate the conditions or if you experience any new symptoms like persistent headaches or skin rashes, consulting with a medical professional for a more tailored treatment is advised.
