Main complaints -premature greying Since 10 years -hair fall more than 6 months

this indicates an imbalance mainly in Pitta and Vata doshas, possibly with weak Rasa dhatu(plasma), Rakta dhatu(blood), and Asthi dhatu(bones, which support hair/nails)

DOSHA INVOLVEMENT

PITTA- governs heat, metabolism , when aggravated, burns melanin->premature greying

VATA- thin, falling hair

KAPHA- nourishment, strength, deficiency-> weak roots, oily hair, lack of luster

Hello I completely understand your concern regarding premature greying and severe hair fall. You mentioned that your hair started greying 10 years ago, and in the past 6 months, hair fall has become excessive, along with scalp dryness and itching.

✅PROABABLE CAUSES

Excessive mental stress, anger, or overthinking. Irregular meals, spicy or sour foods increasing Pitta. Nutrient-deficient diet leading to Dhatu Kshaya (tissue depletion). Excess use of shampoos, chemicals, or exposure to heat. Lack of scalp oiling and dry scalp due to Vata aggravation.

✅ AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT PLAN

✅ INTERNAL MEDICATION

1. Bhringrajasava – 20 ml with equal water after meals twice daily ( Strengthens hair roots, promotes natural colour, improves liver and Pitta balance.)

2. Amla Churna – 1 tsp with lukewarm water or milk daily at bedtime ( Rich in antioxidants, promotes hair pigmentation and scalp nourishment.)

3. Triphala Churna – 1 tsp with warm water at night ( Improves digestion, cleanses Ama, and enhances nutrient absorption.)

HELLO, I recommend the following treatment plan for you. Treatment - 1.Black sesame seed powder -100 gm Bhringraj churna -100 gm Amalaki rasayan -200 gms Mukta shukti-10 gms Tankan bhasma- 10 gms Mix all the medicines and make 60 doses. Take in the morning and evening before meal with water. 2. Badam Rogan oil - 2-2 drops in each nostril either in the morning empty stomach or at bedtime. 3. For hair growth - Castor oil mixed with coconut oil- Apply on the hair and massage gently.Use twice a week. 4. For hair blackening- Use mahabhringraj oil - Gently massage on scalp twice a week.

Diet- .Eat antioxidant and vitamin c,E rich diet . .Eat amla, spinach,dates, soaked and peeled almonds. .Avoid fast food, oily food. Hello, This is Dr Vinayak. For your premature greying and falling of hair and keeping in mind the chronicity of the disease, u will have follow the given treatment for at least 6 months along with some lifestyle modifications.

Treatment- 1. Kalyanaka guda - 20gm with milk or warm water at morning once in 3 days for two weeks only. This will do mridu virechana, Means it will cause purgation for 2-3 times, by which,The accumulated Pitta dosha and other toxins will be eliminated.

Make sure u don’t eat anything until u feel completely evacuated after taking the medicine. U can keep sipping warm water in between. After all the Vegas are completed, that is after u feel light and completely evacuated, have light warm food like khichdi.

For regular intake. 1. Yashtimadhu churna 1tsf with mahatiktaka ghrita at bed time. 2. Arogyavardhini vati. Bd 3.agastya rasayana - 1tsf morning and night after food 4. Prapaundrikadi Taila - for external application.

Avoid hot, spicy foods, exposure to direct sun, stress and worry.

Start with - 1. Swamla Compound (Gold) 1tsp empty stomach daily with lukewarm milk 2. Neelibhringadi Oil for Local application (Gently massage the scalp with 10ml of oil for 4-5 minutes, then keep it for 30 minutes and then wash with soft shampoo) Do this twice a week 3. I was actively part of planning and performing therapies like Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Abhyanga, Shirodhara, and other detox and rejuvenation procedures. Many patients came with long standing spine issues, metabolic disorders, skin complaints, or hormonal imbalance and I got to see how tailored Panchakarma protocols and lifestyle advice together can bring changes that medicines alone couldn’t. Working closely with senior consultants gave me better clarity on safety, step by step planning and how to balance classical texts with practical hospital settings. Now, whether in OPD consultations or Panchkarma wards, I try to meet patients with empathy and patience. I focus on root cause correction, using herbs, diet, daily routine guidance, and therapy whenever needed. My belief is that Ayurveda should be accessible and authentic, not complicated or intimidating. My aim is simple—help people move towards long term wellness, not just temporary relief. I see health as balance of body, mind and routine.. and I want my practice to guide patients gently into that space.
