Hydration is another key component. Drink adequate amounts of water, but avoid overly cold beverages, instead, preferring room temperature or slightly warm water. You might try adding fresh mint leaves to your water, which can help calm Pitta.
Incorporating appropriate herbal remedies could aid in balancing conditions. Triphala churna, taken with warm water before bed, supports digestion and elimination, helping to expel toxins. Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) is another herb known to be beneficial for balancing Pitta and supporting liver functions.
Daily practices of meditation and yoga can help regulate stress, which often contributes to Pitta imbalance. Focusing on pranayama, particularly Sitali and Sheetkari, are cooling and can bring balance to Pitta.
