Avipattikar Churna Before Or After Meals - #5369

Lately, I’ve been having really bad acidity and bloating after meals. A friend recommended Avipattikar Churna, and I bought it from a local Ayurvedic store. Now I’m confused—should I take Avipattikar Churna before or after meals? The label doesn’t say much, and I don’t want to mess it up. I noticed my acidity is worse after dinner, especially if I eat spicy food. If I take Avipattikar Churna before meals, will it help prevent the burning sensation? Or is it more effective after eating? I’ve also heard people mix it with water or honey—what’s the best way to take it? If anyone has used Avipattikar Churna before or after meals, please share your experience. Did it help with bloating and acidity? I’m also wondering if it’s okay to take it daily or only when I have symptoms.

Generally, Avipattikar Churna is more effective if you take it just after meals. That’s coz its main purpose is to reduce the acidity in your stomach and help with digestion soon after you eat. If you take it after a meal, it can help to neutralize that excess acid you’re dealing with, especially after a spicy dinner.

Now, about taking it before meals - not usually recommended if your main concern is acidity. Taking it before might interfere with the natural digestive acids that prepare your stomach for incoming food, which might throw things off.

Mixing it with water is probably the way to go. Just a teaspoon of Avipattikar Churna in warm water would do. If you prefer, you could mix it with honey too, especially if you want it to be a bit more palatable.
