Varicose veins in Ayurveda are commonly related to Siragata Vata with involvement of weak circulation, aggravated Vata, and stagnant Rakta (blood flow). Since your mother has constant pain, itching/burning, and a sedentary lifestyle, treatment should focus on improving circulation, reducing vein pressure, and strengthening blood vessels naturally. Rx 1. Kaishore Guggulu – Helps reduce inflammation, improves blood circulation, and supports vein health. 2. Punarnavadi Guggulu – Useful if there is swelling or heaviness in legs. 3. Arjuna Capsule/Churna – Strengthens blood vessels and improves vascular tone. 4. Manjistha – Excellent blood purifier; helps in burning, discoloration, and stagnant circulation. 5. Gotu Kola (Mandukaparni) – Traditionally used to improve venous circulation and vein elasticity. External Ayurvedic Support Gentle massage with Sahacharadi Taila or Mahanarayana Taila in upward direction (very light pressure).
