Doctors’ responses

Namaste, Anjali ji. From your symptoms of bloating, gas, heaviness in the stomach, and irregular bowel movements, it appears there is an imbalance of Vata and Pitta doshas leading to digestive disturbances. Additionally, the bulky cervix and ovarian cyst may be indicative of an aggravated Kapha condition. Recommendations: Herbal Remedies: Triphala Churna: Take 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime to aid bowel movements and digestion. Hingvastak Churna: Take 1/2 tsp before meals with warm water to reduce gas and bloating. Arogyavardhini Vati: Helps with Pitta balance and liver function, promoting proper digestion. Dietary Guidance: Eat warm, freshly cooked foods that are easy to digest. Avoid raw vegetables, carbonated drinks, and fried or heavy foods. Include buttermilk with a pinch of rock salt and roasted cumin after meals. Add ginger or ajwain to meals to enhance digestion and reduce gas. Lifestyle Changes: Follow a regular meal schedule to stabilize digestion. Practice deep breathing exercises (Pranayama) to reduce stress and improve gut function. Drink warm water throughout the day to flush out toxins and aid digestion. For Cyst and Cervix Support: Kanchanar Guggulu: Take under supervision, as it helps with Kapha imbalances and may support cyst management. Panchakarma Recommendation: Consider mild Virechana (therapeutic purgation) under the guidance of an Ayurvedic physician to detox the digestive system. Please consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized treatment and dosage adjustments based on your full health history.

Your symptoms indicate an aggravated Vata and Pitta imbalance, leading to poor digestion, excessive gas, bloating, and irregular bowel movements. The presence of a bulky cervix and an ovarian cyst suggests underlying hormonal imbalance, which can be linked to weak digestion (Agni) and toxin accumulation (Ama). To improve digestion, take Hingvastak Churna or Avipattikar Churna before meals to reduce bloating and gas. Drink warm water with a pinch of cumin, fennel, and ajwain to aid digestion. Follow a light, easily digestible diet with warm, cooked foods, avoiding raw, cold, and heavy-to-digest items. Regular Abhyanga (oil massage) with warm sesame oil and gentle yoga, including Pawanmuktasana and Vajrasana, can support digestive health. For hormonal balance, Ayurvedic herbs like Shatavari and Ashoka may help, but a detailed consultation is needed for a personalized plan.
