Hello! It seems like you are struggling with severe depression, anxiety, fatigue, and mental fog, which are affecting your daily life and work. To understand your condition better, since when have you been experiencing these symptoms? Do you have any digestive issues like bloating, constipation, or acidity? How is your sleep—do you wake up feeling rested? Have you taken any medications or therapies for your condition? Ayurveda considers these symptoms to be caused by an imbalance in Vata and Pitta doshas, leading to nervous system weakness, stress, and mental overactivity. To support your mental health, Ashwagandha Churna (1 tsp twice daily with warm milk) can help reduce stress and boost energy, while Brahmi Vati (1 tablet twice daily) improves focus and emotional balance. Start your day with 2 soaked almonds, walnuts, and a cup of warm cow’s milk with ½ tsp Brahmi powder to improve cognitive function. Daily Pranayama (Anulom Vilom & Bhramari for 5 minutes each) helps calm the nervous system. Avoid caffeine, processed foods, and excessive screen time, as they can worsen anxiety and fatigue. A gentle head and foot massage with Brahmi or Ashwagandha oil before bed promotes relaxation. If symptoms persist, Panchakarma therapies like Shirodhara or Abhyanga can be beneficial.

Alright, let's dive into what could be happening from an Ayurvedic perspective. Your symptoms of depression, anxiety, fatigue, and the mental fog that you're experiencing often relate back to imbalances in Vata dosha. Vata, when out of balance, can lead to erratic thoughts, restlessness and also tires the mind. First things first – regularity can help settle Vata. Try to establish a daily routine. Get up and go to bed at the same time every day, eat your meals at regular intervals. It's amazing how something as simple can ground the mind. Now, food's important too. Warm, nourishing foods might help you feel more stable. Think of cooked vegetables, whole grains—like rice and oats— and a bit of natural sweeteners like jaggery or honey. Avoid cold or raw foods, and too much caffeine or stimulants, which could spike up Vata. We can't ignore the power of herbs here. Ashwagandha and Brahmi can be your allies. Take them with warm milk before bed. Note: Always check with a local practitioner before adding new supplements. Also, ever tried oil massages? Abhyanga (massaging body with warm oils) can be super calming. Use sesame or almond oil and do short massages in the morning or before baths. For your mind, consider Pranayama—specifically Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) or a simple deep breathing routine. Maybe meditation could offer some relief? Start small, a few minutes a day. Keep in tune with your emotions, maybe journal them out, talk casually with friends. You're not alone. That said, recognize that these changes are supportive—they complement, not replace, conventional treatment. If depression or anxiety is severe, please see a healthcare provider. Ayurveda works hand-in-hand with modern medicine, not against it. Try to be patient, the mind can be a maze, but you’re heading in a good direction.
