Hello Ronnie,

Masturbation occasionally is not an issue but regularly can deplete your energy & stamina along with causing psychological problems. I want to know since when you have been doing it? Also, any stress factors or sleep issues are you suffering from ?

Hi Ronnie,

1. How often are you engaging in masturbation, and do you notice the pain occurring immediately afterward or after some time? 2. Do you experience any other symptoms like fatigue, mood changes, or difficulty focusing? 3. Have you made any changes to your lifestyle, such as diet or stress levels, that might be contributing to the pain you’re feeling?

Masturbation in moderation is generally not harmful, but excessive or compulsive behavior can potentially lead to physical discomfort or emotional distress. It may be helpful to focus on finding balance and incorporating relaxation techniques or other forms of stress relief.

Ronnie, masturbation is a normal activity, but if done too frequently or vigorously, it might lead to muscle strain or irritation in the lower back and pelvic area, which could explain the waist and testicular discomfort you’re experiencing. This discomfort is usually related to muscle fatigue or nerve irritation rather than a direct effect on testosterone levels. Masturbation itself does not cause impotence, though if it becomes compulsive or interferes with normal sexual function, it might affect your overall wellbeing.

Alright, let’s dive into this. About your main concerns—waist and testicular pain after masturbation, these can be a bit tricky. From an Ayurvedic perspective, excessive masturbation might lead to imbalances in Vata dosha. This dosha, when disturbed, can cause discomfort and pain in low back and the pelvic area. Testicular pain sometimes could also be due to Vata imbalances affecting reproductive system. What happens is, your body might be telling you it needs a bit of a break, or you might be overdoing it, yeah, that happens.

Here’s what you can do: massage your lower back and abdomen area with warm sesame oil. Sesame oil helps calm Vata, it’s like a little piece of warm comfort. Take warm baths if you can. You might also want to drink some herbal teas like Ashwagandha or Shatavari-infused teas, these are cooling and help strengthen body’s tissues. Don’t forget proper hydration—water is your pal here.

Now about masturbation and impotence—masturbation itself doesn’t cause impotence. But what does happen sometimes is psychological stress related to it, that anxiety might lead to performance anxiety. In Ayurveda, it’s about balance and awareness. It’s all in finding a right rythm that suits your body and your mind.

Gradually try reducing frequency if you feel it’s needed. Engage in activities that distract you when urge gets high, like exercise or meditation. Build routine with yoga and practices that ground you, like Pranayama. Be patient with yourself. Sometimes we just need to listen to the body and mind.

If symptoms continue, or if any sharp pain occurs, better get it checked with healthcare professional, just to be safe. Sometimes there’s an underlying issue that needs looking into. Remember, balance is the key in Ayurveda. Try going gentle on yourself.
