Chronic gastritis can be a real pain, and combined with fatty liver and the cardiac sphincter issue, it must feel overwhelming. But worry not, Ayurveda offers ways to help balance your digestion and bring about some relief. So, first things first—your digestive fire, or "agni." It's crucial to boost it without aggravating it further. Drinking warm water throughout the day can help. It's gentle and encourages digestion. Avoid ice-cold drinks since they're kind of a shock to the system. Diet-wise, aim to eat lighter meals that're easy to digest. Stick to cooked veggies; stewed apples in the morning are great too. Avoid foods that're heavy, oily, or too spicy, they can aggravate gastritis. Fried foods? Best to steer clear. Teas with cumin, coriander, or fennel can be soothing. Just a cup post-meal could help settle things down. Infusing a spoonful of aloe vera juice with a pinch of turmeric and taking it before meals might also help to heal the stomach lining. But not too much turmeric, as it can be heating. As for that pesky cardiac sphincter, try eating smaller, more frequent meals to reduce pressure on it. Don't rush your meals; eat mindfully. A short walk after eating can support digestion too. Sleeping on your left side can sometimes relieve discomfort from gastric acid reflux. If constipation’s still an issue, consider taking a mild Ayurvedic laxative like triphala at night. It can help regularize bowel movements without being too harsh. Stress tends to exacerbate all these issues. A bit of yoga or deep breathing might help keep stress levels in check, and consequently, support digestion. Anulom Vilom Pranayama is simple yet effective. For your liver, the herb Kutki is reputed to be beneficial, but it's best to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner who can recommend a personal dosage. These are starting points. And remember, its always best to chat with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner who can provide a detailed evaluation suited just for your unique constitution!
