Hi Abdul,
Thank you for giving more insights. To manage your sleep disturbances and blood pressure, try adopting a balanced lifestyle with a low-sodium diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats like olive oil and avocados. Incorporate stress-relieving herbs such as Ashwagandha, Triphala, and Tulsi to naturally support blood pressure and reduce stress. Consistent physical activity, like walking or yoga, can help maintain a healthy BP and improve sleep. Practice relaxation techniques before bed, keep a regular sleep schedule, and avoid caffeine or heavy meals at night. Regular BP monitoring is key, and consulting with a healthcare provider for personalized advice is highly recommended.
Thank you Harsha. Appreciate your behavior and method of guidance 🙏

Mr Abdul, Please try & follow this holistic protocol for a month and analyse the changes in the body. In Ayurveda, high blood pressure (Rakta Gata Vata) and anxiety are often linked to an imbalance of Vata and Pitta dosha. Managing both requires a calm mind, balanced diet, and a stable routine.
Diet Eat warm, freshly cooked meals with less salt and spices. Include cooling foods like cucumber, pomegranate, and coconut water. Avoid processed foods, caffeine, alcohol, and fried items. Drink lukewarm water with a pinch of coriander & dry ginger throughout the day. Practice yoga and pranayama like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari daily for 20 minutes. Perform oil massage (Abhyanga) with warm sesame or coconut oil before bath to calm the vata. Sleep early and aim for 7-8 hours of rest. Avoid excessive screen time and stressful activities.
Medication- along with allopathic medication, start having Tab Mukta Vati 1 tablet twice (morning at 6 am & evening 6pm) with Syp Saraswatarishta 15 ml with 15 ml water. Monitor BP constantly. After 10-12 days , your allopathic medication may need to be adjusted or lowered . You can gradually taper it but diet & lifestyle changes need to be maintained throughout.

Addressing high blood pressure and anxiety requires a thorough understanding of your unique health profile. Ayurveda views these conditions through the lens of dosha imbalances, particularly Vata and Pitta. High BP often correlates with aggravated Pitta, which can increase heat and irritability in the body, alongside a Vata imbalance that fuels anxiety with its restlessness.
Firstly, please continue your prescribed medications and consult your doctor about adjusting dosages or exploring other options, as your BP readings are elevated.
From an Ayurvedic perspective, we target the root cause. Let’s start with daily practices:
1. Dietary Adjustments: Incorporate cooling and calming foods like cucumber, watermelon, and aloe vera juice. Avoid spicy, fried, or overly tangy foods that aggrevate Pitta dosha. Favor a diet that’s rich in whole grains, fresh fruits, and veggies.
2. Lifestyle Tweaks: Implement a consistent daily routine (Dinacharya) to ground Vata and soothe your mind. Wake up and go to bed at the same time every day. Engage in calming exercises like yoga or tai chi in the morning, which improve circulation and reduce anxiety.
3. Stress Management: Practice Pranayama (breathing exercises) like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari, which specifically calm nervous system and reduce anxiety. Try meditation for 10-15 minutes daily to foster inner peace and stabilize emotions.
4. Herbal Support: Add Ayurvedic herbs like Ashwagandha or Brahmi under guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner. They help in reducing stress and balancing doshas.
5. Hydration: Ensure proper hydration, sipping on warm water throughout the day. Foods and drinks with cooling properties like coconut water are beneficial.
Remember to monitor your BP regularly, and if levels remain high despite lifestyle changes, reach out to a healthcare professional. Ayurveda offers useful guidance for lifestyle adjustments, but it doesn’t replace medical treatment, and sometimes medications need adjustment based on the body’s response.
