Hi Jiya,
Can you tell me if the irritation occurs only during bowel movements, or does it last throughout the day? Is the bleeding bright red, and do you experience any discomfort or swelling around the anus after passing stool? Do you notice any changes in your bowel habits, like constipation or straining?
In Ayurveda, piles (or hemorrhoids) are often due to Pitta and Vata imbalances, leading to heat and dryness. I recommend using Triphala for gentle bowel regularity, and applying Anu Taila for soothing the area. Eating high-fiber foods like vegetables and drinking plenty of water can also support healing and reduce strain during bowel movements.
Hello… It is reversible through Ayurveda… Kindly follow this steps to get good results
1) Shanka vati… 2 tablets 2 times a day before food

3) Madiphala rasayana… 10ml 2 times a day before food
4) Kusumoline ointment ( apply before going to motion & even after coming from motion )
All the best 👍 hoping for best results
Is there feeling of any mass after passing stools?? How is your digestion?? Do you pass stools regularly??
The discomfort and occasional bleeding you’re experiencing may indeed be related to hemorrhoids, a common issue during pregnancy owing to increased pressure on the pelvic region. While ointments offer temporary relief, adopting a more holistic, Ayurvedic approach may provide lasting comfort and support healing.
First, let’s consider your diet. Since you’ve mentioned rice is not problematic, maintain that in moderation along with a balanced intake of fiber-rich foods like vegetables and fruits, which help soften stool. You can also include split moong dal, as it’s gentle on the digestive system and supports vata pacification, which can alleviate piles symptoms.
Hydration is key – aim to drink warm water throughout the day to aid in maintaining regular bowel movements. Avoiding spicy, acidic, and heavily processed foods may also prevent irritation.
In Ayurveda, Triphala churna, a blend of three fruits, is often recommended for regular elimination. Taking 1 teaspoon of Triphala churna with warm water before bedtime can be effective. However, consult a professional before trying, to ensure it’s suitable for you, especially during pregnancy.
Topically, applying coconut oil or ghee around the anus may reduce irritation. They’re known for their soothing properties. Also, sitz baths with lukewarm water can offer relief. You might add a bit of rock salt or chamomile to the water for added benefit.
Engaging in gentle yoga or prenatal exercises could enhance circulation and relieve pressure on the rectal veins. But make sure to check these activities are safe and comfortable for you.
Above all, if these symptoms persist or exacerbate, consider consulting with a healthcare provider to rule out any other underlying conditions and ensure you’re doing what’s best for your health and the health of your baby.
