Dr. Swathimutthu Prasad B N
I’m Dr. Swathimutthu B N, and my practice is deeply rooted in the Ayurvedic care of women’s health, with a focus on balancing hormones, enhancing fertility, and supporting every stage of the reproductive journey. My core areas of expertise include managing menstrual irregularities, painful periods, PCOS, endometriosis, PMS, and menopausal challenges through individualized, holistic care. I also provide preconception counseling and comprehensive postpartum support to promote safe and natural recovery. One of my key strengths lies in addressing infertility in both men and women. I integrate Ayurvedic detoxification therapies like Panchakarma, herbal formulations, and lifestyle interventions to naturally enhance fertility, regulate ovulation, and improve sperm health. My goal is to identify and treat the root causes of reproductive imbalances rather than just addressing surface-level symptoms. Each consultation begins with an in-depth assessment of the patient’s Prakriti (constitution) and Vikriti (current imbalances), allowing me to create highly personalized treatment plans. These plans often include Ayurvedic therapies, dietary adjustments, yoga, pranayama, and stress-relief techniques—customized for long-term vitality and well-being. My approach is not just about treatment, but about walking alongside my patients throughout their healing journey. Whether you are preparing for pregnancy, managing chronic hormonal issues, or navigating the emotional shifts of menopause, I provide close follow-up, emotional support, and continuous guidance. I am committed to building a compassionate, evidence-based practice rooted in Ayurvedic science. By combining ancient wisdom with modern insights, I aim to empower each individual to reclaim their health naturally, safely, and sustainably. If you’re seeking a thoughtful, personalized, and holistic approach to women’s health and fertility, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Addressing acne, particularly persistent types that haven't responded to various treatments, calls for a thorough understanding of your unique body constitution, or "Prakriti," as well as the potential imbalances, or "doshas." In Ayurveda, acne can arise from an accumulation of toxins ("ama"), and often involves imbalances within the Pitta and Kapha doshas. The first step towards detoxification involves focusing on your digestion or "Agni" since its imbalance may contributing to acne and other issues like bad digestion and dandruff. Begin with a simple daily routine. Start your day with a glass of warm water mixed with a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice which acts as a gentle detoxifier. Next, consider your diet, which should be Pitta-Kapha pacifying. Avoid spicy, oily, and processed foods as they can increase Pitta. Emphasize on fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, whole grains and light proteins. Cumin, coriander, fennel and turmeric are great spices to include as they help improve digestion and reduce inflammation. Incorporate Triphala, a traditional herbal formulation, before bedtime to support digestion and eliminate toxins. About half a teaspoon in warm water should suffice. As your schedule permits, consider practicing yoga and meditation, which help in stress reduction and improve digestion. Pranayama, especially "Sitali Breathing," can be cooling and beneficial for calming Pitta. For external treatment, look towards gentle face cleansing with Ayurvedic face packs made of neem or sandalwood paste. Regularly applying a mask of Multani Mitti (Fuller's Earth) mixed with rose water can help absorb excess oil and soothe inflamed skin. For dandruff, massage your scalp with warm coconut oil or sesame oil blended with a few drops of tea tree or rosemary essential oil at least twice a week. Leave it on overnight for better penetration. While this guidance is meant to be comprehensive, I recommend consulting directly with an Ayurvedic practitioner who can provide you with a personalized treatment plan, especially given the chronic nature of your condition. Lastly, do consult an ophthalmologist regarding your vision to rule out any serious concerns.
