Your intention to protect your health in support of your spiritual journey is deeply inspiring. Chyawanprash - Take 1 tsp in the morning with warm milk or water, empty stomach. Ashwagandha Lehyam / Avaleha -1 tsp at night with warm milk Take Shilajit sat(a grain-sized amount in warm water) 3–4 times a week, avoid during summer -Eat only fresh, warm, vegetarian Sattvic food—no leftovers or frozen food. Avoid excess fasting or raw food, which can dry Ojas. Abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame oil 2–3 times/week is a Rasayana by itself. Ensure 7–8 hours of good sleep (even if meditating deeply, allow body rest). You’re already practicing high Sattvic living through meditation, which is itself the supreme Rasayana. These formulations will preserve the body and mind as a strong foundation for higher realization.

I have gained comprehensive clinical experience through my internship and professional duties, which has laid a strong foundation for my medical practice. During my internship, I worked extensively across multiple departments, including casualty, general medicine, general surgery, and obstetrics & gynecology at the Government District Hospital, Gadag. This exposure allowed me to handle a variety of acute and chronic cases, sharpen my clinical assessment skills, and actively participate in patient management under the guidance of senior medical professionals. Following this, I served as a duty doctor at AYUSH Hospital, Gadag Betgeri, where I applied my Ayurvedic knowledge in a clinical setting and contributed to patient care in both outpatient and inpatient departments. I successfully completed 366 days of rigorous internship training at DGM Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Gadag, where I was involved in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning under supervision. My time there allowed me to integrate classical Ayurvedic principles with practical patient care while developing a keen understanding of hospital operations and multidisciplinary collaboration. These experiences have enhanced my ability to handle diverse medical conditions confidently while maintaining a patient-centered approach. I am dedicated to continuing my journey as an Ayurvedic practitioner with the same passion and commitment, focusing on delivering quality, evidence-based, and holistic healthcare.

I am currently working as an Associate Professor and Ayurvedic Consultant at a reputed Ayurvedic medical college in Karnataka. My dual role in academics and clinical practice allows me to stay deeply connected with both the foundational principles of Ayurveda and their real-world application in patient care. With years of experience in teaching and treating patients, I have developed a strong grounding in classical Ayurvedic texts as well as hands-on expertise in managing a wide spectrum of health conditions. In my academic role, I am involved in mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, guiding them through theoretical understanding, clinical training, and practical application of Ayurvedic medicine. I actively participate in departmental research, workshops, and case discussions, fostering a learning environment that emphasizes both scientific inquiry and traditional wisdom. As a consultant, I provide holistic Ayurvedic care for chronic lifestyle disorders, musculoskeletal problems, women’s health issues, gastrointestinal diseases, and skin disorders. My treatment plans are deeply personalized, based on a thorough assessment of Prakriti (body constitution) and Vikriti (imbalance), integrating herbal medicine, Panchakarma therapies, dietary advice, and preventive health strategies. I strongly believe in the importance of patient education and preventive care. Whether I am managing a complex condition or offering day-to-day wellness support, my aim is always to treat the root cause and promote long-term healing. I also collaborate with fellow practitioners and students to stay updated with advancements in Ayurvedic research and contribute meaningfully to the field. Ayurvedic formulations can be beneficial for you, but it is essential to follow a sattvik, balanced diet and a disciplined lifestyle for optimal results. In addition, you may take Brahma Rasayana – 1/2 teaspoon daily. It will help support your overall health and well-being.

To support your journey towards health and longevity, the integration of Ayurvedic formulations and lifestyle practices can be very jnuine. One classical option is Chyawanprash, an herbal jam that can boost your immunity and energy levels. Typically, a tablespoon in the morning on an empty stomach is recommended, ensuring it is followed by warm water to aid digestion. Consideration of your dosha imbalance is essential too. If you haven’t already, try identifying whether you are Vata, Pitta, or Kapha predominant, as this will influence other recommendations. For instance, Ashwagandha is often suggested for Vata types who might need grounding, while Guggulu can help Pitta types to balance fire and metabolism. These are available as powders or tablets, taken with warm milk or water, usually once or twice daily. Rasayanas, or rejuvenating herbs, like Amalaki and Shatavari, can also be supportive. Amalaki rejuvenates the heart and digestive tract, supporting longevity, while Shatavari helps in maintaining strength and immunity, especially in males. Regular intake in small amounts, like half a teaspoon mixed with honey or warm milk, can be beneficial. Your practice of meditation is already a powerful tool in maintaining equilibrium. However, ensuring that your diet complements meditation is vital. Favor warm, cooked meals over raw foods to balance your agni, or digestive fire. Including spices such as ginger and turmeric can enhance digestion and is practically easy - just a pinch in your meals. Remember, while Ayurveda is a profound science, maintaining a connection to your body's feedback is crucial. Observe how these suggestions affect you and adjust accordingly. If doubt remains, a consultation with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner who can assess your unique prakriti can provide even deeper insight. Keep hydrated too, though avoid ice-cold water as it can dampen agni. This guidance is generally safe for someone without specific health issues, but if you notice any discomfort or unexpected symptoms, pause these practices and consult with a healthcare professional immediately. Staying attuned to your body’s cues will guide you along a path that supports not just longevity, but a vibrant and harmonious existence.
