I have gained comprehensive clinical experience through my internship and professional duties, which has laid a strong foundation for my medical practice. During my internship, I worked extensively across multiple departments, including casualty, general medicine, general surgery, and obstetrics & gynecology at the Government District Hospital, Gadag. This exposure allowed me to handle a variety of acute and chronic cases, sharpen my clinical assessment skills, and actively participate in patient management under the guidance of senior medical professionals. Following this, I served as a duty doctor at AYUSH Hospital, Gadag Betgeri, where I applied my Ayurvedic knowledge in a clinical setting and contributed to patient care in both outpatient and inpatient departments. I successfully completed 366 days of rigorous internship training at DGM Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Gadag, where I was involved in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning under supervision. My time there allowed me to integrate classical Ayurvedic principles with practical patient care while developing a keen understanding of hospital operations and multidisciplinary collaboration. These experiences have enhanced my ability to handle diverse medical conditions confidently while maintaining a patient-centered approach. I am dedicated to continuing my journey as an Ayurvedic practitioner with the same passion and commitment, focusing on delivering quality, evidence-based, and holistic healthcare.

It sounds like you're experiencing symptoms commonly associated with hemorrhoids, or what we refer to as "Arsha" in Ayurveda. This can be caused by various factors including poor digestion or agni, excessive straining during bowel movements, and lifestyle habits. Considering you’ve already started treatment, but haven’t had significant relief, let's explore some Ayurvedic approaches that might help along with your ongoing medical care. Please remember that if symptoms worsen, it's best to seek immediate medical attention. Firstly, examining your diet is important. Increase your intake of fiber-rich foods such as whole grains, fruits, and green leafy vegetables to prevent constipation, which aggravates hemorrhoids. Try incorporating warm, cooked meals that are easy on the digestive system, avoiding processed foods, refined sugars, and deep-fried items. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep stools soft. From an Ayurveda standpoint, we often recommend Triphala, a classic formulation made of three fruits, for improving digestion and bowel regularity. You can take it in tablet or powder form, ideally a teaspoon in warm water before bed. Not only does it help with constipation, it also works to balance all three doshas. Topical applications are also useful. Warm sitz baths with turmeric or neem added in the water can provide relief from pain and inflammation. Apply a paste made from turmeric and coconut oil around the affected area cautiously, as turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. In terms of lifestyle, avoid prolonged sitting, especially on hard surfaces. Seek out shorter, more frequent walks to keep blood circulation optimal. Gentle yoga, specifically poses like malasana (garland pose), which encourage bowel movement, can also be beneficial. Monitor your condition closely, and if pain or bleeding persists, consult with a healthcare professional to make sure no further medical intervention is needed. Ayurvedic treatments can be supportive, but they are most effective when integrated with ongoing medical advice.
