Premature ejaculation - #21185

Rodney

I'm a 47 year old male with a very serious problem of premature ejaculation whereby I can't even last for 10 seconds and can't go for the second round since 1997. I have been to countless appointments with Urologists without any help, please help. It was after I was diagnosed with Syphilis and after doing medical circumcision

Addressiing premature ejaculation can be a nuanced process, especially given your history and the treatments you've already pursued. In Ayurveda, we often look at issues like these through the lens of balancing vata, pitta, and kapha dohas. Premature ejaculation is sometimes associated with vata imbalance, which governs movement and communication within the body. First, diet can play a crucial role. Focus on grounding and nourishing foods that pacify Vata. This includes incorporating ghee, milk, white rice, almonds, and sesame seeds into your meals. Avoid cold, dry, or processed foods which may aggravate vata further. Regular meals, and ensuring you're not skipping breakfast can also support your system's natural rhythms. As for lifestyle, establishing a routine, including regular sleep patterns, bathing, and meals can help stabilize Vata. Abstain from intense exercise, which can deplete your bodily reserves, opting instead for calming activities like yoga or walking. Meditation or pranayama can reduce anxiety and stress, further helping in controlling premature ejaculation. Certain Ayurvedic herbs might offer support. Ashwagandha is well-known for its rejuvenating properties and can help stabilize Vata. Shilajit also strengthens vigor and vitality. Both can be taken under supervision of an Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure they're suitable given your history. Pay attention to agni, the digestive fire, as poor digestion can lead to an accumulation of ama (toxins), further disturbing the balance. When indigestion occurs, taking a small piece of ginger with salt before meals may help enhance digestion. These methods require patience and persistence. If you're experiencing pain or any unusual symptoms, immediate medical attention should still be your priority. Ayurveda offers support and potential improvement, but any significant medical histories should always be discussed with a healthcare professional familiar with your case.
