Alright, so whiteheads—those annoying small bumps—are basically clogged pores under your skin. They’re usually caused by excess oil, dead skin cells, or sometimes bacteria. In terms of Ayurveda, it could be a result of an imbalance in the Kapha dosha. So, to tackle it, you might wanna focus on balancing that.

Here’s a few things to try. First, diet—cut back on oily and fried foods, dairy products can be heavy too. Fresh fruits, veggies, and whole grains are your best bet. Drink warm water with lemon each morning to detoxify and help with digestion. Also, a pinch of turmeric in your daily diet can be helpful.

Now, skincare stuff. You can wash your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser that’s right for your skin type. Avoid heavy moisturizers. Go for something light or even aloe vera gel. Using a sandalwood paste on the areas with whiteheads can do wonders—just make a paste with sandalwood powder and rose water, apply it, leave for like 10-15 mins and wash off.

Moving onto your scalp issues—itching, red patches, flaking—sounds like you’re dealing with a Pitta imbalance. Too much heat, you know? To calm it down, use neem paste on the scalp. Grind neem leaves into a paste, apply, leave for 20 mins, then rinse it off.

Make sure you oil your hair regularly. Use coconut oil with a few drops of lavender essential oil; massage your scalp gently, helps soothe and hydrate. Stay away from harsh shampoos, opt for ones with herbal ingredients like amla or shikakai.

Keep stress in check, practice pranayama, you know - deep breathing exercises. And keep a check on that sun exposure too—a little is fine, but too much can aggravate things.

Give these routines a few weeks, and see how things go. Ayurveda works slow but aims for long-lasting balance. If symptoms persist or worsen, do chat with a healthcare professional.
