What Could Be Causing My Anus to Smell Even After Washing? - #21675
I am kind of worried and embarrassed to be asking this, but I really need some advice. So lately, I've noticed that my anus smells even after washing, and it’s really becoming frustrating. I recycle showering like every day, sometimes even twice a day if it’s really hot or after workouts, you know, just to stay fresh. But even after I do all that, like after I clean up, I still catch a whiff, like the smell just lingers. It's not the end of the world or anything, but I can’t help but feel self-conscious about it. I mean, I used to think it was just from not cleaning well enough, but I’ve been really thorough lately. I even tried using different soaps and body washes, including some natural ones that claimed to be better for sensitive skin. I thought maybe switching it up would help with that smell, but, like, no luck. It’s just kind of weird since I never had this issue before; it’s like this problem just popped up out of nowhere. Could it be related to something I’m eating? My diet hasn’t changed much — I still eat plenty of veggies and fruits, but I also do love to indulge in spicy foods and a bit of dairy here and there. I’ve heard that could, like, have an impact on body odors but I can't quite connect the dots. Oh, also, I’m really active and sweat a lot, so maybe that’s contributing to it somehow? Like, is there a solution or should I just try using some sort of special wash? Another thing I was thinking is if it could be a sign of something. I’ve been readin’ about anal hygiene and issues recently, like hemorrhoids or even infections maybe? I mean, I've had no pain or discomfort, but the thought does cross my mind if it's something to be concerned about. I really hope this isn’t something super serious, and I just have to change some of my habits or products or something. I just want to feel confident and clean again, you know? If anyone has any tips or experiences with this like where it’s worked for them. Like, could it be as simple as just changing my diet or is there possibly something more? I’d appreciate any advice or recommendations!
