Can Shilajit really help with hair growth and what should I expect? - #22121

Hunter

I am really struggling with my hair lately. It feels like it’s thinning, and I’ve tried a bunch of different things but nothing's worked!! So I heard about this thing called shilajit hair growth, and I’m curious. Like a friend of mine said her cousin used shilajit for hair growth and it made a huge diffrence! So, I’m thinking maybe I should try it too? But then, is it legit? I have some seriously mixed feelings about these things. Also, how do I even use shilajit for hair growth? Can I just mix it with oil or something? And what’s with the dosage? I read somewhere that too much of it can be risky?! I don’t want to make things worse; am I being paranoid? Plus, I’ve had some issues with dandruff, and I'm worried if shilajit for hair growth might irritate my scalp even more. What if it’s, like, too strong or something? I’m just feeling a bit lost, you know? If anyone else has tried shilajit and seen how it works for hair growth, can you all share your experiences? Like, how long it took to see results? Did it make your hair feel healthier? I want to give it a fair chance, but I need some assurance that I’m not wasting my time or money. Any advice about combining it with other remedies? Ik there’s so many options out there, just hoping to find something that works without causing more trouble. Hair’s such a big deal for me, and I really don’t want to make the wrong choice, lol. Thx for any help!

For hair growth amla juice 10ml and aloevera juice 10ml twice daily before food with water have proved to be more effective Use amla hair oil for applying on scalp twice weekly Taking Shilajit will help improve immunity and replenish your body as it contains mineral and micro nutrients and will have somewhat effect for hair growth not directly

Hi hunter- hair struggles can be so frustrating, especially when you feel like you've tried everything and nothing works About Shilajit - yes, its gaining buz for hairgrowth, and for good reason. it is natural resin rich in minerals and fluvial acid that can help boost scalp circulation, reduce inflammation, and even support stronger, healthier roots if you are thinking to trying it; TOPICAL USE- yes, absolutely mix small amount of pure shilajit with carrier oil like Bhringaraj(neelibringadi oil) or sesame oil just a pea-sized amount in 2-3 tsp oil is enough warm slightly and apply to scalp leave for 30-60 min, then wash INTERNAL USE(only if you are healthy and no liver, kidney issue) take 250-300 mg shilajit resin mix with warm water and drink empty stomach in morning daily for 3 months Dandruff concern- combine it with Neem Oil or tea tree based scalp care for balancing Ph it is not a miracle in one bottle . be patient and consistent for 6-12 weeks to see visible results along with life style , diet care when it works, hair feels fuller, less prone to breakage , and grows with more strength add bhringaraj , Amalaki in diet on daily. basis eat healthy stay hhydrated avoid chemical based shampoos and treatment thank you

Shilajit is often touted as a powerful tonic in Ayurveda, known for its rejuvenating and adaptogenic properties. While it's not specifically mentioned in classical texts like the Charaka Samhita or Sushruta Samhita for hair growth, it does play a role in overall health enhancement that can potentially benefit your hair. Addressing hair thinning must be holistic in Ayurveda, considering factors like your dosha balance, diet, and lifestyle. Shilajit can help balance Vata and Pitta doshas, which when aggravated, can contribute to hair problems. Its mineral-rich composition may support overall nourishment, which includes hair health. If you’re planning to use shilajit, moderation is key. Begin with a pea-sized amount (approx. 300-500 mg) once a day, preferably in warm milk or water. Be cautious not to overdo it; side effects from excess might include increased urination or digestive discomfort. When it comes to application for hair, mixing a small amount of shilajit in coconut or bhringraj oil can be a way. Massage gently into your scalp once or twice a week. Since you mentioned dandruff, which is often linked to an imbalance in Kapha dosha, ensure the oil you use is warming and doesn't exacerbate your condition. Watch out for any irritation, and discontinue if noticed. Patience is important as Ayurvedic treatments can take a few months before noticeable changes are seen. Meanwhile, focus on a balanced diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, and adequate protein, as nourishing your body internally reflects externally. Consider combining with other practices beneficial for hair health: yoga for stress reduction, adequate hydration, and maybe even Ayurvedic herbs like amla and bhringraj. Remember, shilajit might be part of the solution, but not a magic cure. Your hesitations are valid; it's smart to be cautious and informed about new treatments. Maintain regular check-ins with your experiences. If issues like dandruff persist or worsen, consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized guidance is advisable. Safe exploration is always beneficial!
