As you mentioned you have it genetically you need to be mindful about the trigger factors

Try and avoid the trigger factors as much possible. Anxiety is a state of mind which you can surely control by altering your thoughts…

Just note the patterns n timings of the feeling and make yourself busy in that time… If you have nothing to do at that time simple do some physical activity or go for a walk or if it is possible for you concentrate on your breath(which most of the people find difficult to do)

Anulomvilom and Bhramari Pranayam will help. But you have to do it early in the morning only.

Donot get yourself into any addictions. Donot drink tea or coffee or aerated drinks.

Prefer natural liquids like fruit juice, coconut water, lemon juice, kokum sharbat over packed ones.

Syp. Prasham 2 tsp twice a day with lukewarm water

Tab. Manasmitra Vatak 2 tabs at bed time with a cup of warm buffalo milk.

Understanding anxiety through the lens of Ayurveda requires recognizing the balance or imbalance of doshas. In your case, it sounds like there’s an underlying Vata imbalance. Ayurvedic texts such as Charaka Samhita and Ashtanga Hridaya suggest that stabilizing the mind and nourishing the nervous system are essential.

First, consider your daily routine or Dinacharya. Establish a consistent schedule to help anchor your Vata energies, meaning waking up, eating, and going to bed at the same time every day. Include grounding activities like self-oil massage (Abhyanga) using warm sesame oil. This can be done morning or evening, about 3-4 times a week, as its calming to the nervous system.

On the diet front, focus on warm, nourishing foods that pacify Vata. Think of well-cooked grains like rice, and oats, root vegetables such as sweet potato and carrots, and use gentle spices like cumin, ginger, and turmeric. Avoid raw salads and cold foods as they can aggravate Vata. Drinking warm, infused herbal teas like with ashwagandha or Brahmi can also be beneficial, promoting tranquility and enhancing cognitive function.

Breathing practices or Pranayama are vital. Simple techniques like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) can help balance your inner winds, bringing calmness and clarity. Practice daily for about 10 minutes, preferably in the morning.

You may want to explore meditation or mindfulness practices, as these can significantly aid in calming the mind. Even 5-10 minutes each day can create a substantial impact over time. Incorporating gentle yoga asanas in your routine can also stabilize Vata. Focus on poses such as tadasana, cat-cow stretch which promotes grounding.

Remember, Ayurvedic interventions work best when tailored specifically to your unique constitution or prakriti. Working with a local Ayurveda practitioner can provide personalized insights and ensure these interventions align with your lifestyle and health needs.
