Hello You are having Antral Gastritis so due to that you are suffering from Abdominal pain and Gastric discomfort. Now a days its common problem , seen in youngsters and mid age and old age people

It may be due to stress , diet , irregular daily activities and for some people due to alcohol and smoking but you don`t worry , in Ayurveda there is treatment

But you have to take medication regularly and you have to take satvik diet for some time .

initially you have to go for detoxification of toxins in your body. for that you have to undergo

Deepana and Pachana therapy

Deepana means stimulating digestion treatment especially for kapha dosha. It is an essential procedure before therapeutic emesis (vamana) and therapeutic purgation (virechana).

The best form of food to kindle digestion is foods like fats/oils

Pachana :- means digestion, cooking, boiling, baking, softening. In medical treatments, it denotes digestion or promoting digestion. It is an important treatment for indigestion.

Later Panchakaram

Snehana one of the most important therapies that prepares the body to receive specialized Panchakarma treatment. It involves the application of medicated oils, ghee and herbs to the body internally and externally for three to seven days

Swedana helps in detoxification and reestablishing the balance between Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in the body. The sweat glands are one of the sources that eliminate toxins from the body

Vamana: Emesis Therapy, involves controlled, medically-induced vomiting. It is aimed to eliminate excess Kapha Dosha in the body which can otherwise trigger a series of ailments like acne, asthma, arthritis, chronic cold and diabetes

Virechana:the controlled therapeutic purging for a specific time. The main purpose of this treatment is to remove imbalanced or excess pitta dosha

By doing this your body will get Detoxification. you will feel Rejuvenation.

Now we will start medication

Considering the symptoms of antral gastritis you’ve been experiencing for the last 6-7 years, such as abdominal pain, gastric discomfort, and upper left back pain, it’s important to understand these through the lens of Ayurveda. Antral gastritis typically indicates an imbalance in Pitta dosha, often with elements of Vata discordance as well, which can aggravate the digestive process.

The key approach involves balancing these doshas and enhancing agni, or digestive fire. Begin by incorporating a Pitta-pacifying diet consisting of cooling, soothing, and easy-to-digest foods. Favor items like cooked vegetables, whole grains, and fruits like pears and apples. Avoid spicy, fried, and overly sour foods which can aggravate Pitta further. It’s also advisable to refrain from caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco to allow healing.

Include warm ginger tea, which can be useful to aid in digestion. Sip it 20-30 minutes before meals for the best effect, but take it cautiously if there’s already burning sensation. You might also consider mixing half a teaspoon of licorice root powder with honey twice daily, which has soothing properties helpful in reducing inflammation.

Regarding lifestyle practices, meal timing plays important role. Eat at consistent hours, ensuring to leave ample time for the stomach to rest between meals. Engage in moderate physical activities, like yoga, focusing on asanas that gently stretch abdomen and back, such as Cat-Cow and Cobra pose. Pranayama, specifically the Anulom-Vilom technique, can promote digestive health by balancing the doshas.

If symptoms persist or worsen, consulting with an Ayurvedic practitioner may provide you with a personalized treatment plan. In cases where pain is severe or there’s unexpected weight loss, it’s crucial to reach out for urgent medical evaluation, as it might require immediate attention beyond ayurvedic remedies.

Patience is essential since addressing long-standing issues often requires consistent efforts, but with these attentions, you may experience gradual improvements in your overall well-being.

HELLO ANKIT JAIN,

Antral gastritis is a condition involving inflammation of the antrum(the lower portion of the stomach), often causing abdominal pain, gastric discomfort, and sometimes radiating pain like upper left back pain. Chronic astral gastritis may be caused by factors such as poor digestion, Helicobacter pylori infection, irregular food habits, stress, or long term NASID use.

CAUSES WHICH TRIGGERS YOUR CONDITIONS -Spicy, sour, salty food -wrong food combinations -eating over undigested food -irregular meals, late-night eating -stress and anxiety -indigestion over time -use of NSAIDs, smoking, alcohol

PATHOGENESIS causes leads to pitta prakopa(excess acid, heat)->digestive fire becomes hyperactive or weak->formulation of toxic metabolites->accumulation in stomach especially the Antral part->inflammation, burning, acid reflux, pain,bloating->chronic mucosal erosions, ulcers, back pain, vata aggravation.

DOSHA INVOLVEMENT PITTA= burning, acid reflux, inflammation, sour belching VATA= gas, bloating, pain radiating to back, dryness KAPHA(if chronic)= heaviness, nausea, sluggish digestion

TREATMENT GOAL 1)Enhance digestive fire 2)Balance pitta dosha, reduce acidity and inflammation 3)heal mucosal lining of the stomach

TREATMENT PLANNED FOR YOU

1)KAMDUDHA RAS(WITH MUKTA)- 1 tab twice daily after meals with cold water= cools pitta, reduces acid, heals mucosa

2)SOOTSEKHAR RAS- 125 mg before food with honey or water= digestive , anti-acid, calms mind

3)AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA- 5 gm at bedtime with warm water= laxative, corrects pitta-aggravated indigestion

4)SHATAVARI CHURNA- 1tsp twice daily with milk= soothe lining, cooling, balances vata-pitta

5)YASTIMADHU- 1 tsp twice a day with ghee= ulcer healing, anti-inflammatory

DURATION= 3 months minimum for symptomatic relief -6 months for mucosal repair

PANCHAKARMA ADVISED STRICTLY IF ONLY AFTER 3 MONTHS SYMPTOMS PERSIST AFTER TAKING INTERNAL MEDICATIONS 1)VIRECHANA= eliminates excess pitta from liver and intestines

2)BASTI- if vata imbalance->back pain, dryness

3)NASYA= for stress or anxiety-driven gastritis STRICTLY UNDER GUIDANCE IN CLINIC SET-UP

DIET RECOMMENDATIONS

-GRAINS= rice, wheat, barley, old shale rice -LEGUMES= moong dal -VEGETABLES= lauki, ash gourd, pumpkin, carrots (boiled no raw) -FRUITS= ripe banana, pomegranate , sweet apple, papaya -DAIRY= warm milk with ghee, buttermilk with cumin -FATS= cow ghee(small quantity only) -SPICES= cumin, coriander, fennel, turmeric(avoid chilli) -DRINKS= coconut water, coriander- fennel tea, lukewarm water

TO AVOID SPICY= Red chilli, black pepper, garam masala SOUR= lemon, tomato, tamarind, vinegar OILY/JUNK= fried snacks, chips, bakery FERMENTED= pickles , curd at night, idli, dosa CAFFEINE/NICOTINE= tea, coffee, smoking COLD FOODS= ice creams, cold drinks, fridge water

ASANAS-DAILY -Vajrasana= sit 10-15 mins after food -Pawanmuktasana= reduces gas and pain -Bhujagasana= stimulate digestion -Ardha matsyendrasana= tones GI tract -suryanamaskar= stimulates whole body-6 rounds daily

PRANAYAM- -Anulom vilom= balances vata pitta -Sheetali/sheetkari= cooling effect on stomach -Bhramari= calms mind, reduces stress

LIFESTYLE

MORNING ROUTINE(6:00AM-8:00AM) -wake up= early by 6 am , preferably before sunrise-reduces pitta-bata imbalance -Hydration= drink 1-2 glass of lukewarm water to flush toxins and stimulate bowels -evacuate bowels -gentle yoga and pranayam

MEALS -eat on time- 3 regular meals -breakfast- warm ,nourishing -lunch- main meal -dinner- light, before 7:30PM -avoid= spicy, sour, fried, fermented, tea/coffee, cold water

MIDDAY -avoid heavy exertion or stress -short rest (not sleeping) after lunch -Sip warm water or fennel tea

EVENING -gentle walk after dinner-30 min -avoid late eating or screen time after 9 PM

NIGHT -warm milk -sleep by 10 pm, on left side

RESULTS EXPECTED IF YOU FOLLOW CONSISTENTLY

1ST MONTH=acid control, pain reduction, regular meals

2ND AND 3RD MONTH= repair mucosa, improve digestion

3RD-6TH MONTH= rejuvenate gut, prevent relapse

AFTER 6 MONTHS= rasayana therapy for long term gut immunity like AMALAKI RASAYANA- 1 tsp daily

This is a chronic pitta- vata dominant GI condition. with Ayurvedic management, healing is gradual but deep and lasting. the most powerful treatment lies in consistency, correct food, and stress management

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL
