how to increase sexual power - #24157

Henry

I am really worried about my sexual health lately. Been feeling kinda low on energy and it's affecting my intimate life with my partner. It’s just not the same anymore! Like, last week I tried to impress her, but I felt like I couldn’t keep up and we ended up just watching a movie instead of being close, which was super disappointing. I’m in my late 30s and thought this wouldn’t happen until I was much older, you know? I’ve heard that there are natural ways to improve things, like with diet or herbs, but I’m not sure how to get started. I really need to know how to increase sexual power without relying on pills. Friends mentioned some ayurvedic remedies that worked for them, but they didn’t really get into the specifics. I’m thinking about trying some herbal teas or supplements, but how do I choose the right ones? Is there a particular diet that can help? Like, should I avoid certain foods? Struggling with this is kinda frustrating! Would love advice on how to increase sexual power naturally. Thanks in advance!

Feeling a dip in sexual energy is quite common, especially in your 30s, but it can be addressed naturally using Ayurvedic principles. The key is to understand your body’s unique constitution or prakriti, and the possible doshic imbalance which may be causing these issues. Based on the symptoms you’ve described, it sounds like there might be a Vata or Kapha imbalance – these doshas could be impacting your energy levels, and your sexual vitality.

Ayurveda suggests several natural strategies to enhance sexual power. For starters, diet is crucial. You should focus on consuming warm, nourishing and easily digestible foods that support your digestion or agni. Go for whole grains like quinoa and brown rice, along with cooked vegetables, lean proteins and healthy fats like ghee. Avoid processed foods, cold and dry items which can aggrevate Vata, or heavy foods that increase Kapha. Stay clear from excessive sugar and caffeine as they can affect your energy balance.

In terms of herbs, Ashwagandha is renowned for its rejuvenating and strengthening properties, making it beneficial for enhancing vitality and stamina. You can take Ashwagandha powder, about half a teaspoon with warm milk in the evenings. Likewise, Shatavari is excellent for balancing hormones and enhancing libido; consider a similar dosage but in the morning.

Daily lifestyle choices play a role too. Engage in moderate exercise like yoga or walking to enhance your energy and mood without exerting yourself too much, leading to fatigue. Practice regular sleeping habits aiming for 7-9 hours of good quality sleep. Also, consider practicing mindfulness or meditation to reduce stress, which can significantly impact sexual desire and performance.

Lastly, maintain an open dialogue with your partner about your experiences and feelings. This can reduce any performance pressure and enhance emotional intimacy, the foundation of a satisfying sexual relationship.

Remember, consistency is key with these practices. Give these a genuine trial over a few weeks, observing changes at a gradual pace. If there is no improvement or if symptoms worsen, consulting with a certified Ayurvedic practitioner is advised for personalized insights and treatment.
