Hello Sristi, First of all , if you’re taking guggul then please chew and crush it within your teeth . A lot of people take guggul the wrong way . Secondly, take authentic chandraprabha vati 2 tablets 3 times a day . Nothing less than this would work in your case . Third , for urine incontinence practice yoga . It reduces urinary incontinence by strengthening the pelvic floor muscles and improving bladder control. Practice poses like Malasana , Warrior Pose, and Uttanapadasana , along with pranayama.
Lifelong medication is not always necessary especially in Ayurveda where the focus is on understanding and addressing the root cause of health issues. Here, you are experiencing white discharge and urine leakage, which in Ayurveda, is typically related to imbalances in the Kapha and Vata doshas. For white discharge, also known as leucorrhoea, managing lifestyle and dietary choices plays a crucial role. Start by reducing excessive intake of sugary, sour, and salty foods, as these can aggravate Kapha. Incorporate more astringent and bitter foods like lentils, green leafy vegetables, and turmeric into your diet. Sipping warm water throughout the day can help balance Vata.
For urine leakage, Kegel exercises are beneficial; these strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. Practicing Ashwini Mudra, which involves the contraction and relaxation of anal and vaginal muscles, can also help. It’s good to avoid caffeinated beverages, as they can irritate the bladder. Beyond these, consider consuming Triphala powder at bedtime mixed with warm water to support digestive health and rejuvenate tissues. A half teaspoon is typically sufficient.
Yoga and pranayama practices, particularly Uttanapadasana and Bhastrika, can aid in stabilizing the pelvic region and improving energy flow. Ensure regular, focused relaxation to help in balancing dosha effectively. Remember, Ayurveda emphasizes balance, so it is advisable to consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized approach that best suits your unique constitution, balancing internal doshas to reduce reliance on lifetime medication. If symptoms persist, it’s wise to consult with your healthcare provider to explore additional diagnostic evaluations. This will allow a harmonious path to recovery promoting natural healing processes without over-dependence on long-term medications.
Dealing with persistent issues like white discharge and urine leakage can be frustrating, but in Ayurvedic practice, addressing the underlying causes could lead to a more lasting relief, rather than depending on medication indefinitely. These symptoms may be linked to imbalance in the vata dosha, affecting the reproductive and urinary systems.
First, focusing on diet and lifestyle can be crucial. Since vata imbalance often involves dryness and cold, incorporating warming and nourishing foods can help stabilize vata. Increase intake of warm, cooked meals, using spices like ginger, cumin, and turmeric to aid digestion. Hydration is also key—drink warm water or herbal teas like tulsi or ginger tea throughout the day as it’s more calming for vata types.
Specific practices could also be beneficial, like abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame oil. This can be done daily before a shower, aiding in balancing vata and strengthening the tissues. Pelvic strengthening exercises, such as Kegels, are often recommended to support urinary control.
At night, a glass of warm milk with a pinch of turmeric and a bit of jaggery can improve tissue strength and support reproductive health. This balances vata and provides nourishment.
While you are using herbs like Chandraprabha Vati and Gokshuraadi Guggul, consider consulting a practitioner for personalized dosages or additional herbs, like Ashwagandha or Shatavari, as they can offer support for your specific constitution and symptoms. If symptoms persist or worsen, seeking further medical evaluation might be prudent.
