Yes you can continue to take Aarogyavardhini as instructed by your doctor Add amla juice 10ml+aloevera juice 10ml once daily after food with water
Arogyavardhini Vati is often recommended in Ayurvedic practice for liver health, but there are certain points to consider especially if you have a history of nephrotic syndrome. While Arogyavardhini is beneficial for addressing liver abnormalities, it’s crucial to be cautious with its use, as it can potentially affect kidney function when used frequently or over long duration. If you have pre-existing kidney concerns, it would be best to consult with your healthcare provider before continuing the use of this tablet.
Arogyavardhini Vati contains ingredients like mercury and sulphur, known to be heavy on the kidneys for some individuals, particularly those with compromised renal function. Therefore, continuous monitoring under the guidance of an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner would be ideal. Dosage matters too; ensure you adhere to prescribed limits and not self-dose unnecessarily.
In the realm of Ayurveda, addressing the root cause of fatty liver typically involves optimizing ‘Agni’ or digestive fire to enhance metabolism, reduce Ama (toxins), and support healthy liver function. Consider dietary modifications that are easier to digest and do not burden the liver. Avoid fatty, fried and processed foods. Freshly prepared meals with warming spices such as ginger, turmeric, and black pepper may help stimulate digestion.
Regular physical activity and adequate hydration is important to support liver health. Practice yoga asanas focusing on twisting movements to help stimulate organ function. If you experience any symptoms like pain in the kidneys or changes in urine output, immediate consultation with a healthcare professional is recommended. Always make such decisions in close consultation with both Ayurvedic and conventional medical advisors to ensure a holistic yet safe approach.
Considering your history of Nephrotic syndrome, it is crucial to approach Arogyavardhini Vati with caution. While Arogyavardhini is often used in Ayurveda for managing liver conditions, including fatty liver, it does contain certain ingredients that may affect kidney function, especially if you have had previous kidney issues.
First, it’s advisable to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner or your primary healthcare provider specifically aware of your complete medical history, to ensure it’s suitable for you. They might recommend periodic monitoring of renal function to safeguard against any potential adverse effects on the kidneys.
In the meantime, addressing your fatty liver through lifestyle and dietary modifications can be highly effective. Incorporate foods that support liver health like leafy greens, turmeric, and ginger, which can enhance liver detoxification. Reducing fatty foods, alcohol, and processed sugars is crucial to managing a fatty liver. Drinking warm water throughout the day can assist in maintaining digestive fire (agni), which plays a critical role in your metabolic rate.
Consider adding practices such as yoga or meditation to help manage stress, which can adversely affect both liver and kidney health. Simple practices like deep breathing and gentle asanas can aid in balancing your doshas. Lastly, staying hydrated and maintaining a regular routine of physical activity can support both liver and kidney health without aggressive interventions.
Make sure any new intervention is discussed with your healthcare provider to ensure the safety and appropriateness for your specific health condition. Making these lifestyle adjustments can aid in naturally managing fatty liver over time.
