I am really curious about something that’s been on my mind lately. My aunt, she was diagnosed with diabetes last year, and we’ve been trying to help her eat healthier. The doctor said to watch her carbs, but she loves trying different flours for rotis. I stumbled across jowar atta, and I heard it’s supposed to be healthier than wheat flour. But I wonder, is jowar atta good for diabetes? Like, can it actually help in managing her blood sugar levels or is it just another gimmick? I've seen some recipes that use jowar atta, but honestly, I'm not sure if it's too good to be true. My aunt tried making some jowar rotis, and they were kinda crumbly compared to the usual chapatis we make, but she says she likes the taste. Still, I can't shake off this nagging thought... Should she incorporate more jowar atta into her diet or would that just be a bad idea? We’re confused cause we read so many conflicting things online!
