Your digestion issues, along with hair and skin concerns, are likely due to weakened Agni (digestive fire) and toxin build-up (Ama) from TB treatment and hormonal imbalance. Ayurvedic Advice Herbs: Triphala: 1 teaspoon at bedtime for digestion. Ashwagandha: 500 mg twice daily to balance hormones and restore strength. Aloe Vera Juice: 20 ml daily for detoxification. Diet: Eat warm, freshly prepared meals. Include ghee, ginger, and cumin. Avoid cold, fried, and processed foods. Hair & Skin: Bhringraj Oil: Massage scalp thrice weekly. Kumkumadi Tailam: Apply to the face for skin repair. Lifestyle: Follow Abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame oil. Practice Pranayama (breathing exercises) daily. Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized therapies like Panchakarma.

Ah, it sounds like you're going through quite a lot with your digestion issues and the aftermath of TB treatment. Your body's recovering from such an intense process can bring imbalances. In Ayurveda, when the body's natural balance is off, it can affect everything from digestion to skin and hair health. It’s all interconnected. First, let's talk gut. Your digestion – or agni, as we call it in Ayurveda – is crucial for absorbing nutrients. If your agni is weak, your body may struggle to utilize nutrients, affecting your hair and skin. Try to eat meals at regular times and include warming spices like ginger, cumin, and black pepper to improve your digestive fire. For nourishment, include fresh, whole foods like fruits, leafy greens, and whole grains – these can be easier to digest. Ghee (clarified butter) is another friend here; it's nourishing and boosts digestion without overwhelming your system. Add a teaspoon to your rice or stir it into your cooked vegetables. About those hormones and skin, stress plays a huge role here too. Simple breathing exercises or meditation for even 10 minutes a day can help manage stress. We can't control everything, but calming your mind can make a world of difference. Ensuring good hair and skin health from within involves supporting the blood and body's tissue (dhatus). Sip warm water throughout the day to help with circulating detoxifying substances and energy. Fresh aloe vera juice (ensure it's from a clean source and prepared correctly) taken on an empty stomach can also support skin healing. For hair vitality, an herbal oil massage with coconut or sesame oil, infused with herbs like amla or bhringraj, once or twice a week can nourish the scalp and hair. Warm the oil slightly, massage into the scalp and leave it in for at least an hour – if you’ve got time, overnight’s even better. Stay away from overly processed food, caffeine, and excessive sugar. They can disrupt hormones and digestion more. This will take some time, and small adjustments can gradually bring back balance, supporting your natural beauty inside and out.
