Experiencing Acidity and Heavy Body Sensation - #47024

i have acidity issues and throughout day i feel as if body is heavy and most often feels as if gas reachd to mind .It creates poor focus and inability to continue any task for longer period of time

The feeling of constant heaviness poor focus sensation of gas rising upwards and inability to sustain attention usually indicates a long standing digestive imbalance where digestion is happening but assimilation and clearance are not proper Stress plays a very big role here and over time it affects both gut and mind which is why you feel mentally foggy tired and unable to work consistently even though appetite is mostly good

When stress is the main trigger digestion becomes irregular sometimes sharp sometimes dull and gas tends to move upward causing heaviness in chest head and mind .This does not mean anything serious or permanent but it does mean the system needs correction.

Eat warm freshly cooked food Avoid reheated refrigerated or leftover food Do not skip meals and do not eat late at night Dinner should be light and before 7.30 pm Avoid tea coffee chocolate soft drinks alcohol smoking and packaged snacks Avoid excess spicy sour fried fermented and oily food Avoid curd at night and avoid fruits after meals Do not drink water immediately after meals Sip small amounts of warm water only Include rice moong dal khichdi vegetable soups lightly cooked vegetables oats porridge and a small amount of ghee Avoid eating when emotionally stressed

Sleep and wake up at fixed times Avoid screen exposure at night especially after dinner Do not lie down immediately after meals Light walking after meals is helpful Practice slow deep breathing daily for at least 10 minutes

Amlapitta tablet one tablet twice daily after food with warm water

Hingvastak choorna 1/2 tsp twice daily before food with warm water

Medha tablet one tablet twice daily after food with warm water

Investigations that are useful since this is more than 6 months Complete blood count Vitamin B12 Vitamin D Thyroid profile If acidity is severe and persistent upper abdomen get ultrasound
