Dry skin, palpitations and muscle tremors can be associated with aggravated vata, but since symptoms are present for many months, proper evaluation is important. To help pacify vata: • Follow a regular daily routine with fixed sleep and meal timings • Prefer warm, cooked, slightly oily and nourishing foods • Avoid excess fasting, cold foods and irregular eating habits • Daily abhyanga (warm oil self-massage) can help reduce dryness and nervous system sensitivity • Gentle grounding practices like slow breathing or mild yoga Supportive medicines like Ashwagandha or Brahmi may be useful in some cases, but they should be chosen based on individual assessment. Because palpitations and tremors are present, it is important to consult for proper evaluation and a personalized plan rather than self-treating.

HELLO, In Ayurveda, your symptoms- dry sin, palpitations, unilateral muscular tremors, and long standing imbalace (>6 months)- strongly suggest vata aggravation, especially vyana vata (circulation/heart rhythm) and prana vata (nervous system regulation) Since this has been persistent for months and includes palpitations and once sided tremors, I must also gently advise + please rule out medical causes such as thyroid imbalance, vitamin B12 deficiency, electrolyte imbalance, anxiety disorder, or neurological issues . Ayurveda works best alongside proper diagnosis VATA IS dry, light, cold, mobile, irregular Your symptoms reflects -Dryness-> dry skin -excess mobility-> tremors -irregular movement-> palpitations -nervous overstimulation-> muscle twitching Management principle -Opposites pacify vata-> warm, oily, grounding, regular, nourishing DAILY ROUTINE MORNING ROUTINE -wake up by 6-7 am(avoid very early waking) -drink warm water with a few drops of ghee -gentle stretching or slow yoga -10 min deep breathing (alternate nostril breathing) BEST PRANAYAM -nadi sodhana -bhramari AVOID -excess fasting -overexertion -cold showers DAILY OIL MASSAGE -Mahanarayan oil -warm oil slightly -massage whole body -focus on= spine, right side (affected side), feet -leave for 30-45 min -take warm shower Do daily for 6-8 weeks =oil reduces dryness and stabilizes erratic nerve impulses DIET -warm, cooked meals -khichdi with ghee -root vegetables= sweet potato, carrots, pumpkin -soaked almonds -dates 2 daily soaked -cow ghee 1-2 tspdaily -warm milk with nutmeg at night SPICES= cumin, ginger, fennel, hing, cinnamon AVOID= raw salads, cold drinks, dry foods chips, crackers , excess caffeine, very spicy or bitter food, intermittent fasting Eat at fixed times daily, vata worsens with irregularity INTERNAL SUPPORT FOR NERVOUS SYSTEM + TREMORS 1) ASHWAGANDA + BALA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime =strengthen nerves 2) BRAHMI VATI= 1 tab in morning and 1 tab at bedtime =calms mind 3) JATAMANSI CAPSULE = 1 cap at night =redues anxeity FOR PALPITATIONS 1) ARJUNA CAPSULES= 1 cap twice daily after meals =supports heart function STRESS AND NERVOUS SYSTEM CARE Even occasional stress aggravates vata when chronic DAILY -10 min grounding meditation -gentle chanting or humming calms vagus nerve -warm foot oil massage before bed Sleep by 10pm -late nights worsen tremors and palpitations FOR RIGHT SIDE TREMORS SPECIFICALLY Unilateral tremors sugest -localised vata obstruction -possible nerve weakness PANCHAKARMA WHICH IS HELPFUL AND VERY BENEFICIAL -Shirodhara -Kati basti -Basti therapy In charak Samhita, basti is called- half of all treatment for vata disorders If symptoms persist >3 months despite home care, supervised basti therapy is strongly recommended HOW LONG TO SEE IMPROVEMENT Since symptoms are > 6 months -skin dryness-> 2-3 weeks -palpitations-> 3-6 weeks -tremors->6-12 weeks -full stabilization->3 months minimum Consistency matter more than intensity DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Thanks so much for clarifying this! I had no idea mixing meds could be risky. I'll stick to my doctor's meds and look into Ayurveda separately.
