For forgetfulness and anxiety, Ayurveda focuses on calming the mind and enhancing memory with herbs and therapies. You can take *Brahmi* (Bacopa monnieri) and *Ashwagandha* capsules or use *Saraswatarishta*, which helps improve memory and reduce anxiety. Practice *Abhyanga* (oil massage) with *Ksheerabala Taila* or *Brahmi Taila* for relaxation. Include foods like almonds soaked overnight, walnuts, and ghee in your diet to nourish the brain. Practice calming techniques like *Pranayama* (Nadi Shodhana) and meditation to manage anxiety. Avoid overstimulation from excessive screen time or caffeine. Consult an Ayurvedic physician for personalized guidance and dosages.

Forgetting little things can be annoying, right? Being on escitalopram already, it’s important to tread carefully with any new remedies. Ayurveda views mental stuff, like memory and anxiety, as linked to the mind (manas) and doshas, mainly Vata and Pitta imbalances in your case. We’d zen in on calming these. Brahmi is a gem for memory—like, think of it as brain food. You can find it in powder or capsule form. Go for about 500 mg capsules twice a day after meals. It helps with focus too. But again, check with your doc because you’re already on medication. Ashwagandha’s another one that works wonders for anxiety—it’s adaptogenic, kinda helps your body manage stress. Look for 300 mg capsules, same dosage after meals. Then there's your diet and daily routine. Eating warm, nourishing foods like soups and stews especially good. Avoid icy drinks and cold foods. Vata loves grounding stuff. Think wholesome grains like oatmeal or rice with ghee. Stay away from caffeine if you can... it can spike anxiety levels. Instead, try sipping chamomile or ginger tea. Daily routine could use some rhythm. Try to sleep and wake up the same time each day, keeps your body's clock in groove. Gentle yoga or any kind of stretching and deep breathing (pranayama) helps settle the mind. Just like a 10-minute practice every morning goes far. And oh, oil massage (Abhyanga) with sesame oil before showering can really ground your nerves. But, keep your psychiatrist in the loop. Ayurveda’s best when integrated mindfully with existing treatments. Plus, there’s no sub for professional medical advice when it comes to prescription meds! Remember— slow, steady steps, got to give things time to work their magic.
