I am suffering from severe hairfall post menopause. There is also hair thinning specially in the front portion. This is causing undue stress as earlier I had very thick hair.My hair has also become rough and looks lifeless . Please suggest some cure

Hello Ruma, what are your hemoglobin and iron levels, thyroid parameters? Experiencing hair fall and thinning post-menopause is common due to hormonal changes, but Ayurveda offers various remedies to address this issue and promote healthier hair. Here are some suggestions: Herbal Remedies: Bhringraj Oil: Massaging the scalp with Bhringraj oil can stimulate hair growth and strengthen hair follicles. Apply it 2-3 times a week and leave it on for at least an hour before washing. Amla (Indian Gooseberry): Amla is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants. You can consume it as Amla juice or Amla powder, or use Amla oil for scalp massages to nourish the hair and promote growth. Fenugreek (Methi): Soak fenugreek seeds overnight, grind them into a paste, and apply it to your scalp for about 30 minutes before washing. This can help reduce hair fall and improve hair texture. Shatavari kalpa 1 tsp with warm milk on empty stomach is ideal . Dietary Changes: Include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, like walnuts and flaxseeds, to nourish hair from within. Ensure a balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins to support overall health and hair strength. Stay hydrated and consider green tea, which is rich in antioxidants, to support hair health. Scalp Care: Regular scalp massages with warm oil can improve blood circulation and stimulate hair growth. Use oils like coconut oil, olive oil, or castor oil for added benefits. Avoid harsh chemical-based shampoos and opt for natural shampoos containing ingredients like shikakai, reetha, or amla. Lifestyle Modifications: Reduce stress through yoga, meditation, or other relaxation techniques. Managing stress is essential for overall health and can significantly impact hair health. Get enough sleep and engage in regular physical activity to improve circulation and overall well-being. Supplements: Consider taking biotin and zinc supplements after consulting a healthcare provider, as these nutrients are essential for hair health. By incorporating these Ayurvedic remedies and lifestyle changes, you can address hair fall and improve the overall health and appearance of your hair.

Skin allergy like eczema. What is the natural solution for this to get reliefand how to detox my body to clear my allergy. And also my skin became so dark in colour. Plz help me in my skin problem. Thank you

To address your skin allergy resembling eczema and the associated darkening of the skin, a holistic approach that combines dietary changes, natural remedies, and detoxification can be beneficial. Incorporate anti-inflammatory foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as flaxseeds and fatty fish, while also consuming plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables high in antioxidants. Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water will help keep your skin moisturized. For natural remedies, apply fresh aloe vera gel to soothe irritation, use organic coconut oil as a moisturizer, and consider making a paste of turmeric powder mixed with water or coconut oil to promote healing and reduce inflammation. Ayurvedic formulations like Triphala, taken as a powder in warm water at bedtime, and neem tablets can help detoxify your body, while Guggulu can support skin health—consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for proper dosages. Additionally, consider Panchakarma therapies such as Virechana for detoxification and Abhyanga, a regular oil massage with medicated oils, to nourish the skin. Implementing stress management techniques, identifying and avoiding potential allergens, and using gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers will further enhance your skin health. Regular exfoliation with natural scrubs and protection from sun exposure are also recommended. If your condition persists or worsens, consulting with a healthcare professional or dermatologist is advisable for personalized treatment options.

There are pimples on face and itching

Whenever I eat almonds and sweet products I get pimples and itching on my face .What can be eaten to prevent this problem as I get this problem again and again.

It sounds like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction or sensitivity to almonds and certain sweet products, which can lead to skin issues like pimples and itching. To better understand your condition, it would be helpful to know more about your overall diet, lifestyle, and any other symptoms you might be experiencing. From an Ayurvedic perspective, you might want to avoid foods that are known to cause heat in the body, as they can aggravate skin conditions. Instead, focus on consuming cooling foods such as cucumber, coconut, leafy greens, and melons, which can help balance your system. Incorporating Amla (Indian gooseberry) into your diet can help detoxify and improve skin health. Additionally, using Turmeric in your meals may help reduce inflammation and prevent breakouts due to its antibacterial properties. Consider drinking rose water or coconut water, which can help cool the body and hydrate the skin. To support your skin from within, Neem capsules or tea can be beneficial due to its purifying properties. However, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional or Ayurvedic practitioner to tailor recommendations to your specific needs and to explore any potential food allergies or sensitivities you may have.
