Your reaction to almonds and sweet products suggests a Pitta imbalance, causing pimples and itching. You haven’t mentioned about the state of your digestion or stools. Firstly avoiding eating these foods a lot and eat almonds only after soaking them. Here are some guidelines to follow- Avoid: Spicy, oily, and overly sweet foods, and reduce almond or dry fruits & nuts in general, as mentioned. Eat: Cooling foods like cucumbers, coconut water, leafy greens, and melons will help reduce pitta. Include ghee in daily meals for good digestion. Cooling Spices: Use coriander, mint, and fennel in your diet regularly. Taking Triphala 1tsp bedtime will ensure good digestion. These steps can help balance Pitta and prevent recurring skin issues.

It sounds like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction or sensitivity to almonds and certain sweet products, which can lead to skin issues like pimples and itching. To better understand your condition, it would be helpful to know more about your overall diet, lifestyle, and any other symptoms you might be experiencing. From an Ayurvedic perspective, you might want to avoid foods that are known to cause heat in the body, as they can aggravate skin conditions. Instead, focus on consuming cooling foods such as cucumber, coconut, leafy greens, and melons, which can help balance your system. Incorporating Amla (Indian gooseberry) into your diet can help detoxify and improve skin health. Additionally, using Turmeric in your meals may help reduce inflammation and prevent breakouts due to its antibacterial properties. Consider drinking rose water or coconut water, which can help cool the body and hydrate the skin. To support your skin from within, Neem capsules or tea can be beneficial due to its purifying properties. However, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional or Ayurvedic practitioner to tailor recommendations to your specific needs and to explore any potential food allergies or sensitivities you may have.

Sounds like you’ve got a sensitivity going on there! Those pimples and itching, could well be your body talkin’ through what’s happening internally. In Ayurveda, your condition might stem from a Pitta imbalance, often triggered by specific foods that are heavy or heating, like almonds and sweets.

To ease your symptoms and try to balance things out, consider steering clear of those trigger foods, for sure. But let’s talk about what you can eat instead. Cooling, calming foods that pacify Pitta are your best mates. Munch on foods like cucumbers, melons, and leafy greens. Coconut water is a good option too. It’s refreshing and gentle on the system. Including a bit of ghee can be really nourishing without heating you up.

You can also try a herbal formula called “Amla.” It’s a cooling herb and does wonders for balancing Pitta, you can take it as a powder or juice depending on what you prefer. Turmeric might help too, a pinch in warm water or with your foods, it’s got anti-inflammatory properties.

Stay hydrated with plenty of water, and maybe some herbal teas like chamomile or licorice—they help keep cool from inside. Just remember, each body is unique, so it’s about finding that sweet spot for you.

Also, it’s good habit to do a patch-test with any fancy face product you might be considering. Your skin is already sayin’ it’s sensitive, so go easy with new stuff. If the itching gets real bad or the pimples don’t back off despite changes, a visit to a dermatologist or naturopath might be in place.

Finding your balanced state is a bit of a journey, little by little, you’ll get there! Just give it some time.

Thanks so much for clarifying this! I had no idea mixing meds could be risky. I'll stick to my doctor's meds and look into Ayurveda separately.
