How to cure interstitial cystisis with Hunner's lesions?

I am suffering from interstitial cystisis with Hunner's lesions(ulcers) (pain, frequent urination, unable to hold urine, pain if I don't drink water, gastric problems). Also, I have a history of pcod, but there is no cysts now, but irregular periods are there.

Your condition (Interstitial Cystitis with Hunner’s ulcers + PCOD history + Irregular Periods) suggests a severe Pitta & Vata imbalance affecting your bladder, digestion, and reproductive system. The inflammation in your bladder, frequent urination, and pain indicate excess heat (Pitta) and weak bladder control (Vata). Start on gokshuradhi guggulu 1 tab twice daily after food with lukewarm water Chandraprabha vati 1 tab twice daily after food with lukewarm water Avipattikara churna 1/2 twice daily before meals with water Chandanasava 2 tsp with equal quantity of water twice daily

I'm 42 years old inhave grade 3 prostomegaly and cystitis in urinary bladder Urine infection I'm not interested in surgery is it possible through ayurveda to cure

In Ayurveda, conditions like grade 3 prostatic enlargement (prostomegaly) and cystitis (inflammation of the urinary bladder) are often associated with imbalances in the Vata and Kapha doshas. These imbalances can lead to obstruction in the urinary pathway, causing urinary retention, infection, and discomfort. While advanced cases may sometimes require surgical intervention in allopathy, Ayurveda offers supportive treatments that can manage symptoms, reduce inflammation, and support healthy prostate and bladder function. Herbal formulations like Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) and Varuna (Crataeva nurvala) are known to help reduce urinary obstruction, relieve inflammation, and support the health of the urinary tract. Gokshura is a diuretic that can help flush out infection while soothing the urinary passages, and Varuna has been traditionally used to relieve urinary retention. Another beneficial herb is Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa), which supports kidney and bladder health and helps clear excess fluids, reducing any Kapha-related swelling. In addition, a decoction of Chandraprabha Vati, a classical Ayurvedic formula, may help in managing cystitis and maintaining prostate health. Regular intake of these herbal remedies can gradually alleviate urinary discomfort and reduce the size of an enlarged prostate. It's also essential to consume a light, easily digestible diet, avoid heavy and oily foods, and include warm spices like turmeric and cumin that help improve digestion and reduce inflammation. Lifestyle changes, such as practicing gentle yoga asanas like Vajrasana and Matsyasana, can aid in strengthening the pelvic region and improving circulation. Warm sitz baths with Triphala powder or neem leaves may provide relief from bladder discomfort and help control infection.

Pus Cells In Urine 1 2

My father recently underwent a routine urine test, and the results showed pus cells in urine 1-2. I understand that this level is considered normal, but I still want to know more about what it means and whether it’s something to monitor closely. From what I’ve read, pus cells in urine 1-2 indicate the presence of white blood cells in a very small amount. While this might not be alarming, could it still hint at a mild infection or inflammation in the urinary tract? My father has no visible symptoms like burning during urination, fever, or pain, but I’m worried that this could be an early sign of something that might worsen later. Could dietary habits, dehydration, or lifestyle factors contribute to the presence of pus cells in urine 1-2? My father drinks very little water throughout the day and often consumes spicy foods. Should we make dietary changes to help reduce or prevent further pus cells in urine? Another concern is whether this could be linked to underlying conditions like a urinary tract infection (UTI), kidney issues, or prostate health. He is in his late 60s, and I’ve read that older men can have these conditions without noticeable symptoms. Would it be advisable to follow up with further tests, like a culture or ultrasound, to rule out any underlying problems? Lastly, I’m curious about preventive measures or treatments. Are there Ayurvedic remedies or herbal supplements that can help maintain a healthy urinary system and prevent infections? Herbs like gokshura and punarnava are often mentioned for urinary health—could these be helpful in a case like this? If anyone has experience with managing or monitoring pus cells in urine 1-2, please share your insights. Should we be concerned about this, or is it completely normal? Are there any lifestyle or dietary recommendations you’ve found helpful for maintaining urinary health?

Pus cells in urine at a level of 1-2 are generally within the normal range and may not indicate any serious condition, especially if your father has no symptoms like burning urination, pain, or fever. However, mild inflammation or a subclinical issue, such as dehydration or dietary habits, could contribute to this finding. Encourage him to drink plenty of water daily to flush out the urinary system and reduce the risk of infection. Limiting spicy, processed, and acidic foods can also help maintain urinary health. Given his age, it’s wise to stay vigilant about prostate health and kidney function. While further tests like a urine culture or ultrasound are not immediately necessary without symptoms, they can be considered if there are concerns about recurrent issues. Ayurvedic herbs like gokshura and punarnava are excellent for supporting urinary health and preventing infections. Gokshura helps soothe the urinary tract, while punarnava aids in reducing inflammation and improving kidney function. Regular use of these herbs under an Ayurvedic practitioner's guidance, combined with a balanced diet and hydration, can help maintain optimal urinary health.

My areas of specialization include digestive disorders, skin conditions, joint and musculoskeletal issues, and infertility. I am deeply committed to treating each patient with a personalized and root-cause-oriented approach, using classical Ayurvedic methods that align with their prakruti (individual constitution) and health goals. My practice centers around the belief that true healing requires a balance of body, mind, and spirit. Through Panchakarma therapies—Ayurveda’s renowned detox and rejuvenation treatments—I’ve helped individuals overcome chronic imbalances, manage stress-related disorders, and regain vitality. I design each treatment plan by combining herbal medicine, therapeutic detox, customized dietary guidance, and easy-to-follow lifestyle changes that can be integrated naturally into daily life. What makes my approach unique is the blend of traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with a modern understanding of health challenges. Whether it’s managing gut health, addressing hormonal imbalance, resolving chronic skin issues like eczema and psoriasis, or improving reproductive health, I focus on long-term wellness rather than short-term symptom relief. In addition to clinical work, I’ve conducted research on depression, exploring how Ayurvedic tools—such as sattvic diet, herbs, medhya rasayanas (nootropic formulations), and mind-body practices—can play a vital role in supporting emotional and psychological well-being. This has strengthened my belief that Ayurveda offers not just physical healing, but emotional resilience and spiritual growth as well. As a practitioner, my goal is to make Ayurveda practical, accessible, and results-driven. I strive to empower every patient to become an active participant in their healing journey, guiding them step by step toward balance, clarity, and sustainable health.
