I am really trying to figure out if shilajit is safe after hearing a ton of different things. Last month, I started taking this supplement because I read it can help with energy levels and overall health. Honestly, I felt a little more energetic for the first week, but then I started having these weird stomach issues. Like, I wouldn't say it's exactly pain, but more like discomfort and I’m not sure if it’s from shilajit or something else I ate. My friend who recommended it says she has been fine, and then I read online about all the benefits of shilajit, but now I’m worried. Some articles say it might not be safe if you have certain conditions or take other meds. How do I know if shilajit is safe for me? Should I just stop it altogether? I mean, I don’t wanna risk anything bad just for some more energy, right? I’ve been cautious about supplements before but this whole shilajit thing is making me unsure. Thoughts?

Is the extraction and preparation of shilajit you’re using from a reputable source? Quality can affect safety and potency.

Meanwhile, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner who could assess your doshas, and recommend whether shilajit aligns with your constitution and any ongoing health concerns.
