Ye It can heal but chronic exfoliative condition (more than 1 year) means Pitta + Vata dushti with Rakta involvement. Healing will be slow but possible with proper care. Since now Peeling stopped White/yellow layer forms after 1 week This shows ama + mild infection + rakta dushti still present. Gandhak Rasayan – 1 tablet twice daily after food Avipattikar Churna – ½ tsp at night with warm water Khadirarishta – 10 ml + 10 ml water after lunch & dinner External Application Morning & night Clean lips gently with warm water Apply Jatyadi Ghrita thin layer OR Pure cow ghee 4–5 times daily If yellow layer thick Apply coconut oil + pinch turmeric once daily Diet Avoid Spicy, fried, sour food Pickle, curd at night Excess tea/coffee Take Ghee in food Moong dal Bottle gourd, ash gourd Pomegranate Plenty of warm water

Hello I get how frustrating it is to deal with your skin peeling problem for over a year. That white-yellow stuff that shows up after your skin peels, and the worry it might never stop, can be really stressful. But hang in there! It can get better with the right treatment. Basically, in Ayurveda, it is not just a simple skin problem. It’s like a Pitta-Kapha thing mixed with some blood and toxin issues. SIMPLE BREAKDOWN – Pitta: Causes redness, burning, and ooze. – Kapha: Creates that thick, sticky white-yellow layer. – Toxins: Block your skin from renewing itself. – Bad Blood: Keeps your skin from healing right. So your skin keeps making that weird layer, even if it stops peeling for a bit. Will it ever heal? Yes Even if it’s been a year or two, your skin can totally bounce back. Think of your skin as a system that renews itself every month or so, as long as: – Pitta chills out – Kapha gets cleared away – Your blood is cleaner – Those toxins are gone So, there’s still hope for healing! Here’s the Plan This needs a mix of stuff: medicine, creams, and cleaning your blood. Internal Medicines These meds will help your skin from the inside out: 1. Mahamanjishthadi Kwath: 20 ml, twice a day 2. Arogyavardhini Vati: 2 tabs, twice a day 3. Khadirarishta 20 ml, twice a day 4. Gandhak Rasayan 1 tab, twice a day 5. Triphala Churna: ½ tsp at night These will: – Clean your blood – Stop the peeling – Fix your skin – Fight infection – Tone down the oozing and color changes External care Mix Nalpamaradi Taila and Coconut oil (equal parts) and put it on twice a day. This will: – Soften the peeling skin – Calm things down – Help new, healthy skin grow And yeah, skip the steroid creams if you can. Food Rules Eat: – Rice – Moong dal – Bottle gourd – Coconut water – Pomegranate – Buttermilk Avoid: – Sugar – Fried stuff – Tea/coffee – Eggs – Meat – Milk at night – Baked goods One Big Tip Don’t pick or scrub your skin. Let the meds do their thing. You won’t be stuck with this forever. Your skin’s just angry and needs some love, not a death sentence. With the right Ayurvedic detox, you can totally heal. All the best, Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

HELLO, Since it has lasted more than 6 months and you describe it as severe, this is considered a chronic condition in both modern medicine and Ayurveda. Before giving management advice, a quick clarification:- It this affecting your lips, face, hands/feet, or the whole body? chronic exfoliation in different areas can have different causes (eczema, psoriasis, fungal infection, cheats, dermatitis) etc In Ayurveda, chronic exfoliation is usually due to -Pitta aggravation= inflammation, redness, yellowish disharge -Vata imbalance= dryness, peeling, cracking -Sometimes Rakta dushti =impure blood involvement Long standing cases often involve pitta + vata with Rakta involvement White/yellow discharge after peeling suggests pitta dominance with mild infection or inflammation Since it has lasted over a year, this is likely a chronic pitta-vata skin disorder WILL IT HEAL? YES- it can heal, but: -chronic conditions take time -If present >1 year-> may take 3-6 months of consistent treatment -complete healing depends on diet, lifestyle, gut health, and stress levels Skin disease in Ayurveda are strongly connected to digestive fire and blood quality INTERNAL MANAGEMENT A) IMPROVE DIGESTION Take before meals -TRIKATU CHURNA= 1/4 tsp with warm water if no burning sensation OR -Jeera + coriander tea twice daily IF THERE IS BURNING , SKIP TRIKATU AND USE -GUDUCHI POWDER= 1/2 tsp twice daily with warm water B) FOR BLOOD PURIFICATION -NEEM CAPSULES= 500mg twice daily after meals -MANJISTHA CAPSULE= 1 cap twice daily after meals -SARIVADIASAVA= 20 ml + equal water once daily in morning THESE HELP REDUCE -yellow discharge -inflammation -chronic recurrence C) PITTA-VATA PACIFYING MEDICATIONS -ARIGYAVARDHINI VATI= 1 tab twice daily after meals EXTERNAL APPLICATION Avoid steroid creams if possible IF SKIN IS DRY AND PEELING -apply pure coconut oil OR Kumkumadi taila= if facial involvement IF YELLOW DISCHARGE/INFLAMMATION -Mix neem powder + turmeric + rose water-> apply thin layer 15 min, then wash -Apply jatyadi taila if cracked/raw skin Avoid -harsh soaps -chemical face washes -scrubbing -hot water STRICT DIET -boiled vegetables -bottle gourd, ridge gourd -moong dal -rice+ ghee -pomegranate -coconut water -warm water only AVOID COMPLETELY -spicy food -sour foods-curd, pickle, vinegar -fermented foods -fried foods -nong veg especially sea food -<link removed>ffee excess -junk food Skin will not heal without diet correction LIFESTYLE RULES -sleep before 10:30 pm -avoid late nights -avoid stress stress increases pitta -practice cooling pranayam =sheetali -avoid sun exposure IF STRICTLY FOLLOW YOU WILL SEEE IMPROVEMENT -Itching reduces= 2-3 weeks -peeling reduces= 4-6 weeks -discharge stops= 6-8 weeks -full healing= 3-6 months DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Ayurvedic Approac Rakta Shodhana (Blood Purification): Herbs like Manjistha and Sariva are used to “cool” the blood and remove toxins (Ama) that may be causing the skin to shed prematurely. Deepana & Pachana (Digestion): Since skin health is tied to the gut in Ayurveda, improving your “digestive fire” (Agni) is essential to ensure nutrients reach the skin tissues. Snehana (Oleation): To stop the peeling, the skin needs deep moisture. Medicated oils like Pinda Tailam or Nalpamaradi Thailam are often used to soothe inflammation and provide a protective barrier. Immune Modulation: Herbs like Guduchi (Giloy) help stabilize the immune response While Ayurvedic medicine can be highly effective for chronic conditions, “healing” depends on several factors: Underlying Cause: Is this related to Psoriasis, Eczema, or a nutritional deficiency? Identifying the root cause is the first step in an Ayurvedic plan. Consistency: Chronic conditions (especially those lasting over a year) usually require 3 to 6 months of consistent treatment to see stable results. Dietary Support: You would likely need to avoid “Pitta-aggravating” foods- specifically fermented items, excessive salt, sour citrus, and spicy chilies-to prevent internal heat from flaring up on your skin.

Exfoliative skin conditions can take time to heal, especially if they have been present for many months. The white or yellow appearance after peeling may indicate ongoing inflammation or impaired skin barrier rather than normal healing, so stopping repeated peeling is a good step. Healing is possible in many cases, but it depends on identifying the underlying cause — whether it is dermatitis, infection, psoriasis-type changes, or another skin condition. Focus on: • Gentle skin care and avoiding harsh exfoliation or strong chemicals • Keeping the skin moisturized and protected • Supporting digestion and reducing inflammatory foods Since your symptoms are severe and long-standing, a proper consultation is important to assess the exact type of exfoliative condition and guide a targeted treatment plan.
