I hear the weight of your concern. Myasthenia Gravis is a challenging condition, and it’s understandable to look for complementary paths when conventional routes feel limited. In Ayurveda, Ocular Myasthenia Gravis is often correlated with Vata-Vyadhi, specifically involving Vata-Kopa (aggravation of Vata) affecting the Nayani (eyes) and Mamsa Dhatu (muscle tissue). The goal is to provide Brimhana (nourishment) to the nerves and muscles while balancing the immune system. The condition is seen as a loss of Ojas (vital essence) and a disruption in the communication between the nervous system and muscle tissue. While there is no “cure” in the modern sense, Ayurveda focuses on strengthening the neuromuscular junction. 1. Dhanwantharam Kwatham: Take 15 ml diluted with 45 ml lukewarm water, twice daily before food. This acts as a potent nerve tonic. 2. Ksheerabala (101) Capsules: Take 1 capsule twice daily after food. This is a concentrated formulation designed to strengthen the nervous system and pacify Vata. 3. Balaswagandhadi Thailam: For external application. Gently massage a small amount around the forehead and temples (avoiding direct contact with the eyes) once a day to improve local muscle tone. 4. Chyavanaprash: Take 1 teaspoon every morning on an empty stomach to support Ojas and overall immunity.
